"We stopped for lunch here, and I decided to go for the breakfast.. which consisted of 2 sausages, rasher of bacon, 2 eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, bubble and squeak, and could have had black pudding, which I declined.. and a slice of toast and butter....A mug of tea or coffee is included for the great price of £7.99 My friend went for Liver and bacon, mashed potatoes and peas. When the food came, after a little wait, but was expected as all freshly cooked. We were not surprised.. Huge plates of delicious food. All from their own farm shop.. I couldn;t fault it at all, superbly cooked, very tasty and piping hot... Would most definitely go again, and try something else from their menu not huge but very adequate, and a choice of about 4 meals on the specials board to add to the choice. Well worth a visit, and a look around their farm shop which sells an array of meats, veg, drinks, and gifts..."

Arrived at 1.55pm and they finished cooking breakfast at 2pm.....but this was not a problem for the staff here who were more than happy to serve us and we were not disappointed. A great family feed for a reasonable price.....a bit out of the way...but I would say it was worth the journey.

I have eaten the breakfast here a few times now and each time am amazed at the quantity and quality of my meal including a pot of tea all for under £8!!! The bacon and sausages are produced locally and even sold in the farm...shop only yards away. The seating area is a lovely place inside and out with great friendly staff to boot. 5/5 would highly recommend anybody to see this farm shop out! See you soon View menu

near the lakes rookley, we have from this farmhouse for some eggs, milk etc. for our lodge. while we saw that they had a caffe and decided to taste their breakfast the next morning. it was amazing. a huge, freshly cooked breakfast with some local products including tee or coffee for just £7.99! service was quick and friendly. the breakfast was so good that we can visit again before the end of our holiday. many thanks to brownriggs.

they can get a series of good foods at brownriggs. the chees are not among them, and should be challenged according to the trades description act, as they contain almost no cheese or mist. what they contain is almost completely kartoffel, and,. get me old-fashioned, but I think that a cheese and a twilled bream should contain mainly cheese and a twill. this offer is misleading, fraudulent and lets you ask how much the rest of your products is equal.
