in the middle of the ratinger marketplace is the bourgeois house, which is run by the brewery francenheim. eating is okay, good value for money. the publikum is mixed with colorful, mentioning that it will be a party with dj on Friday night, which will be a little too loud for the older semester. in summer the market place is used as a beer garden; very cozy! tipp: living room in francenheim

"We were visiting the cooking class Street Food Italiano. At the beginning there were mandatory cappuccino, espresso or classic coffee to know. Further in the kitchen there was an overview of the dishes and their preparation. The ingredients used, consisting of seafood, fish, meat and vegetables, were carefully compiled and of very high quality. Ervin gave a variety of tips, creating a good exchange and understanding of the preparation. It has been very much fun to cook with other participants and exchange ideas. The food was just excellent. A new interpretation of Italian cuisine! Also a great experience for companies or larger groups!"

"You would have found the way to Platia. Whether you want to sit with friends and drink a few beers, for example, if you want to watch the games on big TVs at a football world championship with many others, whether you want a good meal or want to have a family party, it is worth it. The tapped beer tastes just as good in Platia as a good glass of wine. If you want some food, it is always possible to talk to the waiter about some changes to the farm on the map. They go as far as possible to the wishes of the guests. The staff is friendly and serves guests very quickly. The boss often asks the guests if everything is okay."

"A friend and I were staying at the Maritim Hotel near DUS airport and we were looking for a decent restaurant which was close by and open. I read on the Website and on Google that the Bei Stefan was Open until 11PM, so we took a taxi and arrived at 9:15PM. We entered the restaurant only to be told that they are closing. I said "according to your website and Google you are open until 11PM" to which they replied "but the kitchen closes at 10PM". That conversation took place at 9:15PM!!! Did they lose track of the time??? We walked out in disbelief after spending 10.50 euro on a taxi to get there. Flushing my money down the toilet at the hotel would have been easier and would have spared us the walk back. This is the epitome of "bad business". Please note that this review has nothing to do with the food (which we never got the chance to try)"

"Hi I have just had the most amazing Penne Arrabiata at this restaurant. My colleagues had pasta and pizza that looked lovely. Amazingly friendly service, the chef came out to ask how my pasta was. Highly recommended and not expensive. Thanks Dean"
