"After passing to Livorno we decided to return to CISTERNINO after eight years, having in mind a pleasant memory. Forget to be served and revered at the table with all the mise en place. Here the service is in plastic plates and the paper tablecloth you have to put, but it is absolutely not negative. Enter and find yourself in front of a fantastic sliced counter, with everything and more, besides cheese. Having seen us undecided by so much abundance they proposed a mixed plate of sliced, one better than the other with a superb shoulder of Siena. We let ourselves be advised and on the bench inside the typical polystyrene package for trips out of buffalo mozzarella just arrived!!! We take one, serious mistake we should have taken two immediately, melted in the mouth and combined with the wiser slicers was the perfect combination. I compared to my partner I tasted the cooked vegetables in the wood oven while he second lap of sliced. Finished the price with a biscuit more similar to a pizza. Getting to the cash much lower account than we expected, great!! !If you look for a place where you eat well with fresh local products (except the amazing mozzarella) lived by the locals is the location for you."

In search of a place in Livorno where to eat well we stopped in this tractor/hot table and we really did bingo. Excellent products and genuine food are the best couple possible. Lots of stuff and at light prices.... We will also return because also the service was very good

we stopped for an informal and fast dinner before returning home: appetizer with Prosciutto dolce (sugar) and pecorino; cacio and pepper with homemade pasta Mancini, a lasagna with an exceptional ragù, and to finish a yogurt with over orange oil (a real delicacy)...... the quality of the products and preparations are from high-level cuisine

Mythical Cacio and Pepe made with the Spaghettoni Mancini and Pecorino Riserva del Fondatore Caseificio il Fiorino.
