"one of the best buffets in Trieste, according to me: informal environment, not too touristy, indoor room with local people, two tables on the wall for those who intend to consume something on the fly, as I did, a bar full of various dishes to bring the water in the mouth, sympathy and kindness of the staff. I tried the sandwich with cooked ham, crispy fried eggplant and mustard: really good. with a beer and a glass of mineral water, 6.80 euros, popular price for a fast lunch. I will definitely come back to try some more challenging traditional dish."

This was a great choice for lunch! Friendly, welcoming service including a lovely man who translated the menu for me and gave recommendations. Packed and popular and a great atmosphere with excellent local food. Highly recommended! Two courses and two bottles of water for just over 20 euros.

Good food to all. excellent value for money. at lunch crowded in Trieste, although 300 meters from the large canal. taken: pasta and chickpeas, risotto with fisherman, cuttlefish with polenta, sarda in sport, Sardinian bread, baked vegetables, red wine. All right!
