This restaurant was recommended by locals. It was definitely a great choice to spend our night and have delicious dishes. Great service and friendly personnel. Highly recommended!

The food my partner ordered was excellent. However, the vegetable spring rolls in my dish were extremely dry and difficult to chew. Additionally, there was no sauce provided, except for a small amount of sweet and sour.

I was given chicken instead of Tofu!!! I am a vegetarian so this was incredibly upsetting. I would not go here if you have any sort of allergies or dietary restrictions because they clearly do not pay attention to those. View menu

This was just okay, but pricey for that. Best thing that came was, surprisingly, the complimentary veg soup. The rest was a little bland and a bit so-so. Needed more herbs, spice and just flavour overall. Not awful, but a thousand better places to eat in east London.

It took a while for us to order food in this small Dalston restaurant perhaps because there were only two staff on the floor and one was mainly busy putting portions of sauce together for take away orders. Unfortunately, we were disappointed when our dishes arrived. The pho was flavourless and the tofu tough to chew. We expected more for what we paid.

We randomly went in there as we were going out in Hackney. We had squid for starters which were just perfect. We ordered the small portion but it was so delicious that we regretted not ordered the bigger portion. I had beef brisket pho which tasted amazing and they are not greedy with the beef which I really loved. My partner had a spicy chicken curry which came with a veg soup and he absolutely loved it. The last time I visited this restaurant was about two years ago, even though I live nearby. I have been focused on my health lately, but I decided to treat myself to a baguette from here. I used to get them regularly in the past, so I chose the lemongrass beef filling. However, I was disappointed with the portion size this time. The amount of meat was minimal and they skimped on the salad and pickles. I always request no mayo or coriander, which they usually accommodate, but this time they only gave me the beef and carrots. The manager on the evening of Tuesday 23/11/21 was unforgivably rude to my wife. She came home from a meal with friends visibly upset. This is not acceptable. The dish she had been recommended by him during the order taking process was not as he had said it would be and a simple swapping of the dish would have been the easy solution. He refused to acknowledge he had either not understood or made a mistake. He instead chose to imply my wife was in the wrong. Regardless of the cause of disagreement the issue here lies with how the manager chose to deal with the situation. He was rude, stubborn and rolled his eyes at her multiple times. My wife returned home visibly upset after this experience....

Do not dine at this restaurant! The staff is rude, my order was incorrect, I did not receive a refund, and there is no awareness of allergens. I have never encountered such disrespectful staff before, prompting me to write this review. I ordered tofu but was served chicken instead. As a vegan, I unknowingly consumed some of the curry before realizing the mistake. When I called to address the issue, the man on the phone was immediately rude and demanded I return the food.
