"Wow! You absolutely have to visit this place! It may not look like much from the outside, but let me tell you, the meal was incredible. I ordered the fish special—though I can't remember exactly which fish it was, it was simply delightful. Usually, I'm accustomed to having my fish filleted at the table, but the owner, who was honest and humble, explained that they were small and busy. Instead, he took just ten seconds to teach me a simple trick to do it myself. So not only was the food delicious, but I also learned something new! I was truly impressed by the owner's passion and authenticity; it made me feel like I had been transported to Sicily. What a fantastic hidden gem! If this place were located in central York, there would be lines around the block (you know what I mean). We also tried the recommended wine, and it was such a pleasure to taste something different. A top tip: definitely ask for the recommendation and go for it! I will 100% return the next time I'm in York."

My daughter and I had dinner at Buongiorno tonight, and the food and wine were fantastic. I had the surf and turf, and the prawns were fresh and delicious. I highly recommend a visit!

The restaurant has a charming interior, but the dishes we ordered lacked flavor. I was quite surprised given the positive reviews I had seen. I decided to return, thinking it might have been a fluke, but unfortunately, the food was still tasteless.

Amazing Italian Seafood! We had such a wonderful experience yesterday! We had pasta, pizza and the famous 'Fish Madness ' for 2 seafood miracle. The mussels were nice, big and tasty, the fish was so delicious. The pizza is real proper Italian style one and just perfectly balanced. My son had a carbonara that also great: rich and enticing.
