"Had reservation for 17.30 but had issues with public transport so called restaurant and they were happy to put back our time to 18.00hrs. Ordered Halloumi Fries and Haggis Fritters to share,i had a beef burger and partner had rib eye steak.Waited a little while on order and everything came at same time.Well worth the wait though. Received bill and was charged £42 for bottle of Prosecco,according to website it should only have been £28.Mentioned this to waiter and he adjusted the bill accordingly. Will definately be back as food was great and service was excellent."

Burger patties were tough and dry. Table next to us appeared to have the same experience. Given the prices this was such a disappointment. How difficult can it be to get the patty right when that’s your speciality?

We went to eat and drink in the weekend there, my friend has touringettes and usually would after a piece at any door, the staff were more than courteous and the food was brilliant, cocktails were delicious and got drunk 10/10 all round

This is a great stop if you want casual dining. Dan was our server and he gave great service and was friendly and talked us through the menu. Food was great and is good value based on the portion size which is generous to say the least. Good atmosphere although perhaps a little cramped with not much space at all between tables but for us that didn't affect our overall experience.
