"Wir haben mit 4 Personen das 6 Gänge Menü einschließlich Weinbegleitung bestellt und genossen. Die Gerichte waren professionell und dem Anspruch gemäß angerichtet. Alles sehr lecker aber etwas kardamonlastig was sich durch alle Gerichte durchzog. Weinbegleitung durch einen sehr bemühten jungen Mann der allerdings die Weine eher wie vom Katalog gelernt vorstellte. Dies soll keine Kritik sein aber vielleicht etwas mehr persönliches Fachwissen wäre von Vorteil. Das Ambiente und die Tische entsprechen eher keinem Sterneniveau. Teller und Besteck auf dem Holztisch präsentiert. Eine Tischdecke sollte in dieser Kategorie Euro machbar sein. Alles in allem eine gute Präsentation der Speisen aber für knapp 1000 Euro durchaus ausbaufähig. Insgesamt aber gute 4 Sterne von 5."

"the detmolder farm is an institution in detmold that has experienced in the last decades rather deep than heights. for several years in new possession and ground refurbished, the restaurant presents itself at capital level in the raised segment but at rural price level; the ambiente in the bistro is very high quality. the old wooden buildings are skillfully combined with modern elements and stole a warm and thriving atmosphere. exceptionally also the open kitchen that gives views in the professional kitchen operation. the house wines are recommended to charming 19 euro. where in many other upscale restaurants one only receives quality at such a price, the wine was excellent. the main dishes were not only excellent, but also appealing portions. on the point pink was my lamb, the two! goose bumps of the other main food also a pleasure; and if all of you are added an extremely attentive, friendly and competent service, there is all the reason to come back. great!"

"The Cafe Cup is good. I know many people like it for it's cozy and Bohemian atmosphere, and drinkable coffee, which is good. But the food is not really worth it. The service is also good.... serviceable. I ordered cakes there... a few times with friends and it was okay, but not to write home. Better than eating. My husband went to lunch last week and I ordered a panini. It took forever to come. Unfortunately, I have a roasted sandwich that is not exactly a panini. The salad I ordered was not too fresh, and dressing is too oily. My husband ordered a cheese plate, and instead of small pieces of cheese, small pieces were served that were strange. My hot chocolate was 't real hot chocolate - it was only powder mixed with hardly warm milk. The whipped cream was made of a can. He wasn't overwhelmed with his cheese plate, but still managed to eat it. We wouldn't go back, except maybe if our friends who really like the place wanted to come, and if we do, we'll stick to cappuccino and cake. This is your best bet. But nice place, really good for coffee."
