"I'm sure this place thinks they're doing a great job, they're wrong. The service from the waitress we had was rubbish. Moody, sarcastic, impatient and unwelcoming. The food was absolutely diabolical for the price (140 Euros for two adults, two kids). We ordered two steaks which weren't cooked as we asked and were practically inedible as a result. The 'fries' with the steak were oven chips as well. We also took a chance on what the waiter described as an 'English Plate'. This appeared to be their stab at a ploughman's type meal but was absolutely awful. A couple of bits of processed ham, two different chunks of melon, you get the idea. Then the plate of pasta we ordered for our youngest was overcooked and flavourless.Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs."

Very welcoming, excellent burger and Jardin Salade, with free French language lesson from the waiter. We loved this place and great location. Great desserts.

Gay friendly place with a nice service which is rare to find in France. The restaurant is located just a few steps away from the Cathedral. Food is average and nothing to write home about.

I ordered pork with French Fries. The pork and the French Fries are both delicious. The pork is juicy, and the French Fries tastes great, not so salty. And the waiter is nice and friendly. I enjoy having lunch here.

We stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday at the tail end of tourist season and the place was busy. The menu was limited but our food and server were decent. The restaurant is on a "business traffic only" street and is great for people watching.

Good location just steps from the Chartres cathedral. The food was pretty good but not exceptional. I ordered the sausage, thinking I was going to get some super-flavorful link, but I ended up getting more of a Bismarckian sausage. The fries were very delicious though, and some of the other food was great too. Beautiful decorations, too!

The cafe decor and the friendly staff made this seem a promising choice, but the food was very average and over-priced. I have found this happens in France a lot - restaurants located near to popular tourist attractions think they can charge premium prices then serve up average fodder to ignorant tourists who know no better. My tarteflette was supposed to be accompanied by a selection of cold meats but came with one slice of jambon. I chose the cheese board for dessert which was one small slice of brie. The wine list was expensive as well.A word for our lovely young waiter who tried his best to help us out with my limited French, and his blossoming English. Sadly, se's wasted in this place.
