"I have heard about this place and finally found time to visit it for a short coffee break. especially in this opposite you can find many different caffes where the price for a cup coffee would be lower and the coffee...better and they have soy milk. a small cup cappuccino costs the same as the normal size cup at any other coffee near. the pancake made me disappointed. it was extremely dry, the smell of butter from which the cake was made was very strong and the waiter recommended to take it with a whipped cream. Unfortunately it didn't help the cake, the cream didn't taste good. it was ordinary looking from the super market. Of course, the inner of the place is beautiful. it feels like an old movie from the 60th many gold, beautiful curtains and soft sofas with small cute chairs in the same style. even the plate used for the cake was a bit broken on a side: maybe to keep the feeling that they are at the old place. Anyway, it was nice to see it and I don't want to come back."

Retro interior, limited space and local feeling. Ideal for starting the day if you are from out of town, and starting the visits of the nearby museums. :

Jasmin is a beautiful little cafe with good vibe and music. The food is very good and prices are fair. We had a brunch and enjoyed it. Very local and don't expect the English to be to good ; worth a visit. View menu

eating is just vegetarian and vegan, and is really good. I've been there several times and I can say it's my fav in a little bit. the service, the decor, the cozy. everything great with a take: the toilets are terrible.

Good choice of breakfasts, from healthy options with avocado and vegan. Very busy so may be expect to wait for a table but I had the eggs and toast (sunny side) with ham, mushrooms and tomatoes. It was delicious. I could have eaten another one...but that's because it was 11am and I'd been up for 6 hours! Would recommend this restaurant for the breakfasts alone. View menu

Café Jasmin in the Maxvorstadt is a journey back to the fifties. You can make it comfortable on velvet sofas and armchairs and simply drink a coffee with friends. You can enjoy the subtle charm of past times created by the authentic interior and decoration, without overloading or cheesy. The breakfast options offered or the small snacks are recommended. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Therefore, I can recommend Café Jasmin for a nice coffee slip.

With Gatsby-style decor, you'll feel like you stepped back into the 1920s at this restaurant. There's nothing old-fashioned about the food, however. I had a delicious warm quinoa and soy milk pudding with fresh fruit. My friends had a coconut chia pudding, and a acai...bowl and both loved it. The service was a little slow because the coffee machine broke, but the waitress was very apologetic and kept us up to date on the progress of our drinks, so I can't complain. Very reasonably priced for such an interesting, tasty and special brunch (my quinoa and cappuccino cost around 12 EUR)

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
