Bester Service den ich in Berlin bisher erlebt habe. Tolle Musik, Angenehmene Location und tolles Ambiente gerne wieder :

Nein Danke, muß man sich nicht antun. Kurz zusammengefasst: Unterer Durchschnitt in der Zubereitung der Speisen, in Super-Mini Portionen zu 5-Sterne Preisen. Ambiente ist skurril und absolut ungemütlich. Selbst in meinen Studentenzeiten wäre dieser Nepp als Treffpunkt durchgefallen

A bit off the beaten path but completely worth it. Handwriting in a chalkboard is always a good sign. A reduced Menu, another. Just a few options per day that taste like something one would cook at home. Nice decoration (go for the bus seats...if you have space), friendly welcoming staff, nice environment and fair prices for the quality of all this. We're definitely coming back, and will bring friends.

Located in the porter's lodge of a former tram shed, hence the name.Frequented by artists working in the area, Café Pförtner offers daily changing lunch options and lately also higher priced supper, very good unfiltered beers, a good selection of wines and a charmingly unpretentious atmosphere recalling 90s East-London. Leider war der Service sehr schlecht. Wir mussten mehrfach nach Getränken und Essen fragen. Wir mussten immer nach drinnen gehen und wurden nicht einmal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Brot und Besteck wurden nicht bedient bis wir die Kellnerin 30 Minuten nach der Bestellung daran errinert haben. Wir mussten insgesamt 40 Minuten auf das Essen warten, das nicht besonders gut war, angenommen, das sein Preis relativ hoch ist. Wir wurden nicht informiert, dass die Küche geschlossen wurde und dementsprechend konnten keine weitere Speisen bzw. keinen Nachtisch bestellen.

Loved the place, loved the food and loved the atmosphere not including the personnel. When coming into the restaurant, without any clue how to act, to sit down, be guided to the table or order at the desk.. while standing there at the cashier trying...to figure this out and trying to see which of the three workers running around me could be the least offended if i asked and broke their good flow in hassling. I mean, at this point i would have been happy with a hi, and be with you in a sec kind of a we give an interest of you arriving to our restaurant and so sorry we 'll be with you as soon as possible -type of a reaction.. but no, so i was kind and waited for some minutes more, until i aske...
