"Because it's not lower, I have to give a star. Unknown house wine too expensive. The serving for a main dish was undamaged small in the splinters of the young deer. With my wife, the supplement was forgotten among the Rehmedaillons and questioned in the case of complaints whether there was a supplement at all. Were then asked if we were almost at the end of the meal, we wanted to have the supplement or the supplement would be deducted from the bill. The supplement then came, but too late. If it had been found nice if an espresso had been given us as an honest excuse or as usual in Bavaria a schnapps. Prices overpriced, operation have the store that was almost empty at all not under control. We're not coming back. The Lord who gave us the recommendation was also really embarrassing. This is still nicely written!!!!!!!"

"Ein sehr ordentliches Hotel mit schönen Zimmern. Wir haben im Haupthaus übernachtet. Weiterhin gibt es dort sehr gutes Essen und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Es liegt sehr ruhig eingebettet zwischen den Bergen. Kann man nur bestens empfehlen."

"Wir waren zu fünft im Hatzstüberl. Das schöne Gasthaus in Hundham ist 500 Jahre alt, also eins der ältesten in der Gegend. Das merkt man an der Einrichtung, sie ist sehr gemütlich, und es ist nix verschandelt worden. Man hat die Wahl: Ißt man in der Gaststube sind die Tische nicht gedeckt und der Stammtisch ist auch da. Wenn man sich für die bayerische Kommunikationskultur interessiert (und das tue ich), kann dassehr interessant sein. Wer es ruhiger will geht ins schön eingedeckte Nebenzimmer. Wir teilten die Gaststube mit einem Waldarbeiter und seinem Hund. Das Wirtshaus ist einfach, die Küche aber leicht gehoben und nicht typisch bayerisch, auch wenn es so Dinge wie Schweinebraten gibt, die zwei von uns bestellt haben und sehr zufrieden waren, das Fleisch zart, die Sosse selber gemacht, die Knödel in Ordnung. Sonst gabs leider nix dazu, es fehlte eindeutig das Blaukraut. Die Bedingung war sofort da, war superfreundlich, hat auch alles schnell gebracht, während dem Essen ist sie allerdings für 20 Minuten nicht mehr aufgetaucht, was nicht schadete, weil wir nix brauchten, aber wenn, dann hätten wir sie suchen müssen. Ich selber aß Rotbarschfilet auf Reis und Thai Curry Gemüse. Der Fisch zart, die Soße war süß-sauer, was eigentlich nicht wirklich Thai ist, sonder chinesisch, hat aber gut geschmeckt, auch wenn vermutlich wegen dem süß Zucker drin war. Aber es war köstlich. Meine Frau aß Lachs, auch der Fisch zart. Überhaupt bedteht die halbe Speisekarte aus Fischgerichten, was ich gerne mag, auf dem Land aber meist vermeide (außer Forelle). Wie sie das hier auf dem Land mit zart so hinkriegen find ich super. Kann ja eigentlich nicht frisch sein sondern aus dem Eisfach. Was ich beinahe vergessen hätte: Als Gruß aus der Küche kamen ein kleines Schälchen Nudeln mit einer pikanten Soße, dazu wunderbares frisches Olivenöl mit Weißbrot. Fand ich einfallsreich und sehr nett. Kennt man sonst hier auch nicht. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Besuch, komme gern wieder, Wein hab ich nicht probiert, da es Mittag war. Die Preise sind günstig für die Leistung, Hauptgerichte so zwischen 10 und 14 Euro. Der Koch sollte vielleicht etwas weniger, am liebsten gar keinen Zucker verwenden, das würde mir in der Nachspeise reichen. Zucker mag nun mal nicht jeder. Aber da kann man lange predigen. Vielleicht hilft ja der neue Papst."

"Good bourgeois cuisine. However, the staff does not always go to the guests, with us there was a family who wanted a small protion cheese spets for their children, this may not make the kitchen supposedly, they should take a normal portion and share it at the table. I'm sorry. Good parking facilities great dining room, clean toilets."

"We’ve been coming the Fischbachau for the last twenty years and have often eaten at either the Klosterstueberl or the Gasthaus zu Post. The Klosterstueberl is located in a beautiful building and has both homely interiors and a wonderful terrace for sitting outside. We always...visit following a day of hiking in the area and therefore look forward to a hefty portion of a Bavarian classic. Yesterday we found the menu had changed and included new touches like “pork cutlets with Iberico ham and chorizo”. This already raised suspicions and when the food came it unfortunately was not very good. We had breadcrumb fried fish which was a horrible consistency and lacked any seasoning except hefty amounts of garlic in the slightly burnt crust, I found mine inedible. Our side salads also included a piece of water melon which is a sure sign that the chef has changed and things are going downhill. All in all the setting is beautiful and I would recommend sticking to the absolute basic dishes of schnitzel, schweinsbraten and Gulasch. However, it’s a shame that they are trying to “modernise” and really doesn’t suit the establishment."
