The service was very bad! After ordering, I had to go and ask them to provide us plates, then I went again for napkins. However, the ambience and atmosphere was pleasant.

It is great to enjoy an absolute amazing package( the lovely coffee, the fresh Juices and the out of oven backed croissants and pastries).What else you an look for when you want to have a lovely breakfast at the french Riviera (Nice Cote D'azur).Definitely a MOST VISIT place when in Nice.

Après y être allée de nombreuses fois, l'attente est récurante : attente pour commander, attente pour être servi, attente pour payer, attente pour récupérer la monnaie... ça fait beaucoup, trop ! Finalement, je suis allée plusieurs fois récupérer ma monnaie au comptoir, ce qui semblait malvenu de réclamer sa monnaie pour 20 cents.Les fois suivantes, la serveuse était froide, ne me disait ni bonjour ni merci, m'a lancé la monnaie sur la table, et les dernières fois, a presque jeté le verre d'eau sur ma table, au point qu'il a débordé.

As an Australian coffee tragic the only slightly negative thing about a holiday in France is the coffee - everything else is outstanding.Caffe Vergnano 1882 serves up coffee that is equivalent to that served at very good cafes in Australia - the barista knows his stuff.I like (an Australian) flat white which is pretty difficult to find in France and then there is the difficulty of knowing what it would be called.On explaining what I liked the barista knew exactly what I was talking about - ask for a cafe creme. We enjoyed coffee, baguette, beer and more coffee whilst people watching on the busy street where this cafe is located. A good coffee was really appreciated after two and a half weeks... View menu
