"...by providing great before- or after-eats and drinks. It was take-away only when we visited today due to Covid restrictions. However, restrictions or not, it would be difficult to find a better egg and bacon sarnie within miles! And when we returned later for tea and scones, it was all equally as good. Our server Jasmine was a left-handed delight; friendly, light-hearted and efficient which are qualities sometimes sadly lacking from customer service these days. The adjacent shop was also well-stocked and featured the same helpful and smiley service. Well done and thank you for adding to our day's enjoyment."

Excellent cafe/general stores. Very friendly and efficient management. Highly recommended home made curries to take away. Very good breakfasts too. We’ll be back!

We had a couple of toasties, chips and found it very expensive. Not only expensive not great food either. The chips were very under cooked. Wish we'd tried the pub. View menu

Lovely 5-rated cafe with great service, huge portions and a lovely location next to the canal. Def recommended to my trip adviser friends and a great place to chill after a ride. My maa-huu-sive all day brekkie was so nice.

Very helpful family run business provided us with excellent tasty frozen homemade Indian meals from the shop when nothing else was available in the village. We then visited the cafe the next day for breakfast and again were well served. What a great facility and lovely people.

This is a great little cafe in Tal y Bont by the canal. They serve all sorts of tasty café food. However, their daily vegetarian curry dishes are divine. We had a Pav Bhaji, served with salad, chutney and raita. It was just what we needed after a long walk. Excellent home cooked food. View menu

Had an early morning walk up towards the dam and reservoir and the Hayden Vaughan walk on a beautiful Morning having parked in the village hall £1 honesty box. Noticed the cafe and stopped for a coffee and cake. Chocolate flapjack substantial and enough for 2, coffee good and sat on the bench near the cancel . Service great and friendly

This little gem is well worth a visit with very friendly owners, spotlessly clean facilities and lovely food. The owners have only been here for two months but the cafe runs as if they have been open for years. Very efficient and hard working couple who deserve every success with their venture. Cooked breakfast, full English/Welsh, vegan, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes, gluten free options, so everyone is catered for. There is a daily special, today’s was a Bombay Pavbhaji which was delicious.
