"Very good and cheap restaurant in the middle of La Floresta. The prices are incredibly cheap and quality dishes. Yes or yes you have to try the pumpkin flan (very curious and good flavor) And any of the pasta that the place offers, you can tell that the cook is authentic Italian by the cooking of the pasta and the flavor of the sauces. Unbeatable quality/price! Price per person: €10–20"

This afternoon I went in for a sandwich, first of all the place is cozy, The service is very good and on top of that they offer to improve the sandwich, I have eaten it and it is truly impressive, I am grateful because it is my dinner since I work at night and I liked it. "New coffee shops keep popping up in Sant Cugat. Serra Jorda, as a bakery and coffee shop is quite nice. And the new Somewhere, popular with the expats, is also pretty good (nice scones). But now Dulche de Leche has arrived and they are just a cut above. There between the Sant Cugat FGC station and Placa Barcelona, so really centrally located. It took us a while to find it, as it's about a year old now, but now we're back on a regular basis. It was just by luck that my sweetheart took a different turn while running errands, and couldn't resist what she saw in the bakery case. This is a South American inspired place, and you get the best of that baking. You start with the empanadas. These are handmade in the Argentinian style (and thank, goodness, not in the Venezuelan greasy deep fried style). The dough is lovely, and there is a huge variety of fillings. Salmon and goat cheese, veggie (spinach), beef, and lots of others. The crust is crispy and tasty, and each variety of empanada is a different shape. The shapes by themselves are worth seeing. Carefully made and artistic. Of course, there are also the alfajores. They sandwhich cookies, with a cornstarch dough, are perfectly made. My sweetheart could order a dulche de leche alfajor every time. These are a bit overly sweet for my taste, but made so well. There is also a variety of other great bake items. Authentic scones. Properly made American (New York style) cheesecake. Muffins. Cookies. Of course, this a cafeteria (coffee shop) too, and the coffee is great. And the drinks are beautifully served in tall glass cups. There is also a nice tea selection. Our latest discovery is that they have a juice and smoothy menu (just tiny and hand written). Don't miss that! The place is L-shaped, so is bigger than it looks when you enter. And the back part has a play area for kids. While our kids are long past that age, it looks to be a great place for a parent to relax, with healthy and lovely food, and a decent drink. And the prices are completely reasonable, on part with other cafeterias in the area (and cheaper than Somewhere). So, all those trendy teens that are sitting in Somewhere should give themselves a break and go around the corner to Dulche de Leche. These people really get it. You feel the care in everything they make They're a bit new to the business, but are already great. They're only going to get better."
