"Wir hatten ein Kurzurlaub in Contra und sind ohne Reservierung ins San Bernardo gegangen und wurden dort sehr herzlich empfangen. Man bot uns einen Tisch auf der mit Weinreben bewachsenen Terrasse an. Obwohl das Restaurant direkt an der Hauptstrasse liegt und die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Restaurant liegt, empfanden wir dies nicht als störend oder unangenehm. Nachdem wir unser Essen bestellt hatten erhielten wir verschiedene Brötchen, Olivenöl und Salz.Unsere Speisenauswahl war2 Kaffee1 Karaffe Wasser2 Cola1 Gin Tonicgrosse Tessiner Platte mit verschiedenen Aufschnittsorten, Käse und FrüchtenxxxPaccheri maialino-hausgemachte Pasta mit SpanferkelFiletto die pesce-Tagesfisch mit Tomate, Kapern und OlivenxxxTiramisuCannolo sicilianoZusammen haben wir 146Chf bezahlt. Wir genossen den tollen entspannten Abend und die Tessinerküche sehr."

"What a lovely restaurant we were impressed with the friendly service nice surroundings and food was incredible! My husband and I each had two plates, they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. "We have been going to the CLM every summer for eight years. The sanitary facilities are very clean, they are cleaned twice a day. Unfortunately, the raft was missing in the lake this year. The risotto and penne that the CLM gave to the guests were great. Thank you very much for that .Checking in was very quick and without any problems. The staff was friendly. Especially Mauro, the good soul of the place. The only thing we didn't like was that we were told when we arrived that we weren't allowed to park our trailer at the CLM until our spot was free and we had to look for a spot somewhere outside of the campsite. Which was 2.50 wide and 11 meters long is not that easy. Until this summer we were always allowed to park at the CLM. We'll be back next year if everything works out."

"Ich war mit Freunden im Tessin und wir haben einen Abstecher nach Magadino gemacht. Wir waren auch im Grotto La Baita. Ein sehr schönes, typisches Tessiner Grotto mit schöner Aussicht. Das Personal war sehr nett und das Essen wirklich hervorragend! Da mein Mann selbst Chef ist, bin ich immer etwas skeptisch aber in diesem Grotto hat alles gestimmt. Ich komme bestimmt wieder und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!"
