"As always, Caper delivered an incredible experience! I stopped by this morning for a delightful pre-Christmas brunch. The Korean oyster mushroom rolls are one of my absolute favorites, and they were perfect as ever. I also tried the pulled pork chili pineapple roll (we definitely overindulged today!), and it was without a doubt one of the best things I've eaten all year! My wife enjoyed the Turkish eggs, and my little one devoured the granola and seemed really happy. If you're in the area or have any means of transportation, you absolutely need to check it out. Huge thanks to Ryan, Talullah, and the whole team! X"

Terrific food and warm friendly staff. I’d advise, though, pay for your food up front. If you keep a tab open you then have to rejoin the queue at the counter to pay. It’s a system that doesn’t seem very efficient. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Incredible, incredible food. I'm not a big reviewer but had to make an exception! The food I had last Friday was (I think) the best meal I have ever eaten. This was our first visit since the restaurant reopened as Caper. We tried a variety of dishes, including a vegan option, a vegetarian option, and a meat dish. We ordered one of each and had two of the main dishes. The flavors were incredible, with Asian influences in both the vegan and meat plates, while the vegetarian choice was a delicious pumpkin tart. Each dish came with several sides. We will definitely be back for more! Service was great for dining in.

"Koocha, while hard to get a booking at, is 100% worth the effort! I would recommend the oyster wings above all else, I was considering ordering a second portion. We ordered two large plates and two mezze between two people, which filled us up plenty. We also got some cocktails which were lovely, and since we arrived early we got the two of the same for £15 deal. The staff are always lovely too, and while the place is small and intimate, it was never too loud for conversation. The only downside is that a lot of the menu is often unavailable, which is a shame, but everything we did order was delicious, and there was still plenty of choice. Edit: Since going back I have found the whole menu has been available so I think they have resolved any supply issues! Updated from previous review on 2023-08-28"

"got here! no warning. best food! booked a table of a recommendation from a friend, mistakenly appeared early, the host greeted us and sat us as soon as possible, really inviting. we asked for additional starters and they were happy to make the adjustment, and I don't even think they added it to our final bill. eating came in good time and was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. I loved the wobblebhaji. we had free poppadome 4 different sauces and a dessert to share. this is by far the best service I have ever received and I personally was not a fan of Indian cuisine before I came to visit here, I am rebuilt! will definitely return. the whole food is beautifully presented, tastes exquisite and the team are so beautiful, polite and have a little laugh with them!"

"Firstly, a text to check we are still good for the table is a nice touch. Great greeting from these lovely people when we arrived. The food was really nice, no it's not cheap but you shouldn't expect it to be. We enjoyed a host of dishes, the bread with dips the pepper one being our favourite. We had the croquetas, small but tasty, some beautiful potatoes (can't remember what they were), that might be the sauvignon blanc making me forget. We also had the sea bream, the belly pork, the octopus and squid salad, the chicken thigh skewers and the duck to name a few. We also had a selection of puddings including a cheesecake and a rich chocolate torte, again very nice dishes. I really enjoyed the food and there was a good vibe from the team and the customers, wouldn't hesitate to recommend."

"This is a very cozy restaurant with just about 10 tables, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. The food is absolutely incredible; I've been here a few times, and each visit has been fantastic. The prices are quite reasonable as well; my partner and I can enjoy a meal and drinks for around £40 total and leave feeling full! I suggest trying a selection of smaller dishes to savor the range of flavors."

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
