"I truly love this establishment. For our first visit, years ago, we were unsure what a full meal based upon crepes would provide. The answer was a lovely experience with good apple cider as a bonus. Since then we have returned for each successive visit...to Paris. I begin to feel that staying on rue du Faubourg Montmatre is now a necessity not just because of its excellent access to buses and three metro lines but because it ensures convenient access to this friendly and highly capable restaurant. If one goes with the flow, the first course is a galette, a crepe made with buckwheat flour. For this visit in I ordered goat cheese, their sausage, and bacon, which was more like what I have known as Canadian Bacon The waiter's face indicated skepticism at my choice but he didn't argue. I was not disappointed. If his unshared recommendation would have been even better, it would have been remarkable. The second course is a more traditional crepe usually with a sweet topping. I opted for the caramel as always with the consistent result: rapture. My wife had the chocolate, which had tempted me. After exchanging small samples, we agreed the chocolate was very good but the caramel was even better. They are open for lunch at but for dinner only Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Don't be afraid to sit downstairs. There won't be a view of the street but the space is cozy and the alternative when they are busy is missing out. Too high a sacrifice!"

You must try the tasting menu! It is absolutely amazing and so worth the price. Crêpes are delicious and the service was excellent! Highly recommend it.

We had a late dinner there recently. The place was not busy meaning we were served promptly. The waitress was friendly and smiley. We had galettes, crêpes and cider. They all tasted very nice and were generously filled. I'm Bretonne so I recognise a good...galette/ crêpe! Prices were good too so all in all an excellent experience. My self and my daughter had the set evening menu. A drink, savoury pancake, small salad and sweet crepe. Savoury pancake of ham, egg and mushrooms was excellent. Salted caramel crepe for my daughter and banana for me both excellent. My daughter's fresh apple juice...was a real delight. Service was attentive and crisp throughout. Prices are reasonable. Worth a detour, ideal for those with children, particularly to Cider looked fabulous.

We came for lunch without a reservation and were tucked in between the entrance door and the cold beverages fridge. Our waiter was friendly and tried to be helpful but …. We opted for the galette menu but then we chose our galettes from a...list, not being aware (our mistake) but also not being made aware that we were to be charged extra for any additional ingredient. And when the bill arrived we realized they had also charged us for two beverages that were supposed to be included in the menu. We enjoyed the crepes and the atmosphere but, although apologies were given, we left with a somewhat bad taste in our mouth.
