I stayed nearby by pure chance and was recommended to go for dinner exactly there. I was overwhelmed in every sense! The atmosphere, the openness and friendliness of the owner, the food(of course! and fantastic selection of wines they have! It is absolutely worth making it a destination, will not regret! I will be back and will bring my friends, I was already giving recommendations. Great restaurant worth a d-tour!

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our way into Florence and were pleasantly surprised! The menus selection is impressive and the head chef even came out to greet us/help us with our dinner selection. This restaurant is also partly run by the President of the sommelier club in Tuscany- the wine selection is impressive to say the least! Ristorante che si trova vicino a Prato, in una amena location con vista sulla campagna . Abbiamo festeggiato un evento in famiglia ed eravamo in tanti,38 persone. Ci siamo trovati benissimo,tutto era davvero squisito,dall'antipasto vario al risotto ai funghi ,alle pappardelle al ragù,al misto di carni alla brace, il Chianti e la torta , con i liquori e i caffé. Nel locale, ché è aperto dal 1912, si trovano anche piatti risalenti al periodo rinascimentale. Personale molto professionale, attento e cortese . Consigliato perché si mangia molto bene e con portate generose!!!

Ci siamo fermati per caso ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Abbiamo mangiato la grigliata che era cotta benissimo. Il servizio sembrava un po' lento ma poi ho capito che era giusto così, tutto cotto al momento (niente di precotto) poi Il cibo bisogna gustarlo e non divorarlo per paura che ti portino via il piatto dalle mani. Insomma una giusta atmosfera. Il proprietario si è avvicinato a noi a fine pasto con molto garbo a scambiare due parole. Le 5 stelle se le merita tutte. Dimenticavo, i dolci buonissimi e preparati dalla moglie del proprietario. Complimenti veramente.

Do le 5 stelle, per mio parere personale, strameritate...apro parentesi, un posto così dovrebbe essere sempre pieno, invece per mia fortuna, seppur di sabato nel mezzo del ponte dell'Immacolata, trovo facilmente posto , dopo essere stato rimbalzato da un altro dove era zibillo... ovviamente per tradizione non prenoto , ma piglio e vado dove il fiuto mi dice...e mi ha detto bene anche stavolta. Tagliatelle al cinghiale che se ci penso ancora sbavo...un peposo vero, che si scioglie in bocca e ti riempie di aromi e sapori...il tutto bagnato da un calice di rosso corposo di cui ahimè non ricordo l'etichetta...aiai perdo colpi... aggiungo a sostegno del fatto che un posto così bello ed accoglient...
