Casa Brighouse - Menu

3 of us visited and all chose different things in the menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we had good quality food well cooked.

Meal with a group of friends including a wheelchair user and the staff were great and very friendly. The food was delicious and some even took some home as the portions are really good sizes.

Lovely location. It was very busy and extremely loud. Food was OK, service was very slow. there was a big party and a big celebration were going on and they did not have enough staff to attend other customers quickly. View menu

Initial room cramped with no bedside table and right by a busy road. No TV remote in the room nor toilet paper receptionist very helpful on both. Then discivered therte was no hot water to the room. Moved to another room still no hot water

Been going to Casa for years now and always enjoy going, went Sunday and as alway the food was amazing staff friendly love the outside part to chill and have a drink in after especially when the sun is out, my fave spot and will be back as always

Probably the best Sunday roast I’ve had. Everything was cooked to perfection, I had roast beef dinner and my husband had smoked salmon tagliatelle. Just OK food nothing to write home about. The place has great views but reading about sewage going into the Lake definitely not good. It felt and looked as if the place could do with a good clean. Tables (legs) dirty and lots of marks. Chairs were the same dirty finger marks definitely not good hygiene. Unfortunately also both my husband and I suffered stomach upset very soon after eating. Will definitely not be going there again

This venue is more a case of style over substance. Visually, it is stunning, with bars on different levels and an outdoor seating area. Apparently, there is a fabulous view of a neighbouring lake, but we went in the evening and so it was too dark to see. I attended as part of a work Christmas meal. The food was mediocre and the portions were small. The soup was merely warm, the turkey dinner less than substantial (I think I had 3 sprouts on my plate) and the chocolate cake could have been bought from a supermarket, it was so average. Throughout the night, various partygoers slipped on the floor and many girls actually fell down. This is not somewhere I will be returning to.

We were staying at the lodges up the road and booked Easter Sunday lunch for 8 of us, celebrating a golden wedding anniversary. It was absolutely lovely. The staff were fantastic with lots of lovely touches, free chocolate bunny for our six year old, talking the trouble to use his name and engage with him (everyone loves it when someone makes a fuss of the kids! …. The dinner was excellent, with options to buy extras (pigs in blankets etc whilst these were extra (and not needed for the already substantial meal they were huge portions and good value.
