Casa Vissani - Menu

Highly recommend. Beautiful location with a view on Lago di Corbara. You are first greeted with canapés served in the garden and then dinner is served inside. The “blue” menu is delicious and the service impeccable. The dining rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Very lovely experience!

Delighted to have been here. Looking forward to it our whole trip. Lots and lots of theatre. Some interesting food. 12 courses. Nothing great. Very well looked after. I wonder how long they will survive. Friday night. 11 guests. Over 20 staff. Huge restaurant and grounds. Why doesn’t the restaurant overlook the lake?

Oh well, 2 Michellin stars ... a bit of a joke at best .. all of us had a good laugh though .. my husband made reservations 6 months in advance.. no need really, the reastaurant was empty! That, right there, says a lot! Nothing there was even close to what a Michelin star quality should be, just wonder how on earth they got those stars?? View menu

Traveling through northern Italy with my friends, and thank you for stopping here. The food and service was absolutely amazing. The fried pizza, Napoli, was my favorite. My friends had the orecchiette salsiccia e friarielli and the spaghetti cacio e pepe, and they were also amazing. I'm so glad we're over. If I ever find myself here, it would definitely come back to Al ClesSidro. The waitress and waitress were very friendly and helpful, 5 stars all around!

When you enter a 2 star restaurant you have high expectations for ambience , service, food and presentation. Not surprisingly Visani had it all....all housed in tastefully restaured period houses. Waiters were friendly but maybe not the sharpest, possibly due to my mediocre Italian. Nice food but maybe pushed a little into the Noma mold with many small dishes with taste impressions without meal feel. Still worth a visit not least compared to 2 star restaurants in France and the North.

Lunch at Vissani’s A great opportunity to try fine dining from a great chef for a reasonable cost. Same a la carte menu. Nice welcoming from maestro himself. Also nice of him to take time to chat with all guests during lunch. The kitchen delivers to perfection! Modern cousin inspired by traditional Italien food. Subtile flavors at the start, and then a perfect balanced explosion in the end. Service was ok, but not perfect. We hade to ask for water (and more wine) serval times... Arriving at 40 degrees, a wet towel to freshen up would have been nice. On the other hand, at this great price, lunchtime is a great start for new staff. Well, first of all we knew something was weird when we walked into the 2 michelin star restaurant and got seated in the back area where we couldn't see any other diners, also our room had no AC! We had to ask to turn the air conditioner on along with repeatedly asking for water and the wine list more than 3 times. We were doing a la carte as the pre-fix didn't look as good and our group has very different tastes. They gave issues about what the 8 of us were ordering and said we can only choose from 4 options... never heard of such a thing. The prices were outrageously expensive.
