I've always liked the food here in the past, but my meal tonight was quite disappointing. The food was dry, cold, and not enjoyable at all. I ordered spring rolls but ended up with empty samosa shells instead. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again.

I just spent £46 on food and didn't receive any egg fried rice. When I called to resolve the issue, they only offered to replace one order of egg fried rice, even though I had ordered two set meals for one. The food was disappointing—the chips were hard, and the curry sauce was thick with barely any meat in the set meal. Chen's used to be quite good! One lady who answers the phone is lovely! But when she isn't there it seems to go wrong! The chilli beef is more like unchillied dust! Don’t judge a book by its cover! While on holiday, we were looking for a takeaway and found this place on Google, which had a good star rating, so we decided to give it a try. To be honest, the building isn’t the prettiest, and when we went to place our order, we were kindly informed that it was cash only for takeout. No problem, as the local shop had a cash point. The staff were friendly and warm, and the locals were welcoming—always a good sign. We didn’t have to wait long for our food despite a steady stream of phone orders.
