"We were heading home from Preston and looking for a good fish and chip shop in Blackburn, but unfortunately realized that all the ones we knew were closed. We stumbled upon Cherry Tree Chippy and were hesitant since it was a Chinese takeout, but decided to give it a try. We ordered steak pudding, chips, large mushy peas, and large gravy. The portion of chips was generous enough for two people. The food was delicious and hot, despite the distance from home. We were impressed and even took a menu to come back again. The staff was friendly and the service was quick."

Visit here every time the family is after a Chinese takeaway. Always very good never fails! Staff are friendly and helpful and hardworking. Great that they offer Chinese and Chippy, both always tasting very nice

We've had quite a few takeaways from here, we went for beef curry and fried rice, very nice and curry good, and we had fish and chips, chips are very good and the fish was fresh and tasty, oh and the potions are huge.

Spent £25 on various starters and mains for two and it was absolutely dreadful! We both left lots due to the food being full of grease and definitely not fresh. Definitely giving this place a miss. The worst Chinese in a long time. View menu

I was disappointed with my recent order from this restaurant. The crispy chilli beef tasted almost spoiled and the spring rolls were not great. However, the salt and pepper chicken was good. It was disappointing as I have enjoyed meals from here before.

The Chinese restaurant is now under new management. This is our second visit since the changes. The first time, the food was okay, so we decided to give them another try since they are nearby. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was flavorless, bland, and overpriced. We do not plan on returning.
