This restaurant is very good ! The food is great and from the region. The service is really good and nice if you are in Avignon you MUST go in this restaurant.

Great to find a small business doing what they do well. Some might say it's a limited menu, but when the burger is this good we really could not have asked for more. Well worth finding if you're after something not French.

We went once during the festival. Our yougest daughter asked to go back to the 'most delicious burgers'. So we went back on a less croudy day and it was even better. Good home made fries, real mayonnaise. the little things that makes the difference. View menu

Bumped into this resto while trying to get lost in the walled city of Avignon. The owner was very accomodating. You give your order by the counter and take your drink of choice yourself from around 4 transparent refs. Burgers were served and it was cooked to perfection. After your meal, you go to the counter to pay. Very clear

During our time interailing we called in here one night for a burger to get a quick bite.The service was excellent and the waiter was really helpful and spoke good English.The food was good, I had a blue cheese burger and my girlfriend had a steak and frites.They have a nice little selection of beers which compliment the burgers well.Would recommend this place and go back again if I was in Avignon.

We were told to avoid many of the restaurants in the centre and be wary of the inflated prices directed towards tourists. After searching a bit of the beaten track, we found this little 'fast food ' joint which offered tasty, high quality food and fast service. The meat was fantastic and of high quality. Having dinner at Chez Bodus was probably the best decision we made in Avignon. Everybody was very friendly, we got as much water as we liked and French fries with two dips for free. When we gave a rather generous tip for the excellent service and the very good food, we were told to pick anything we liked from a little snack bar on the side. I had the best burger in a long time at Chez Bodus (the Hollywood megalo, at 9,50€ the most expensive burger) and really delicious fries with a homemade sauce. Chez Bodus is mostly frequented by locals which makes for a very relaxed French atmosphere in an American looking environment.

If thinking of a good hamburger suggests MacD then one needs to learn how to get a much better one. This is a small, unpretentious place where burgers are made of the highest quality beef, broiled to the level of done-ness one specifies and served with several choices of garnishes. On top of that, the french fries are the best outside of Belgium I have ever found in Europe. If one wants to eat without bun or cheese, there is a barquette with salad, generous slices of perfectly broiled beef and fries. I was looking for a place to eat for late dinner during rainy evening at Avignon. I came across this place as a last minute decision as it was getting late. I have to say that this place is a gem. They make the burger out of fresh meat that they grind on site. The bun is so fresh and soft almost like brioche. It was cooked perfectly as ordered. I ordered the Hollywood megalo with the fries which was tasty and came with different choice of homemade sauces, I picked the tartar.
