"Tire Bouchon gave us a lovely meal. Tasty, variety of choice with a specials board. My lamb was fall off the bone tender. My wife’s fish was so flavourful. The waiter was helpful but struggled a little with English, not a problem for me but others in the restaurant was a little difficult. If I went back to Houdan I would probably choose another restaurant, only because there are others to try."

"A very nice surprise on our Amiens Bordeaux route, thanks to the pizza shop that was closing! The room was full, we were welcomed to two, without reservation. We chose the express menu entry, dish, dessert, and were served without a long wait. The dishes were preceded by a small mouthing of mushroom mousse and the coffee accompanied by a bite of yoghurt mousse with brownie all served with a smile. I strongly recommend."

"10/2022 Disappointment, low portions, taste a little fade and reception/medium service. I pass the note to three hoping it was just an accident. And not sure we're back. 10/2021 Nice and available server, service without too much waiting. Correct dishes and always as well garnished. 05/2021 Home and proper service, all on terrace causes sanitary standards of the moment. A little long before starting to eat, but the dishes are good and well garnished. Smiling server and available. Don't hesitate to test it, I'd be happy to return to it;"

"Apéritif très bon - Nous commandons une bouteille de vin et qu'elle ne fut pas notre surprise de voir que le responsable du bar ne connaissait pas la bouteille commandée ?? Alors qu' elle est à sa carte .. il nous est ensuite amené une bouteille déjà débouchée ( inutile de préciser que nous avions vu le barman remplir avec un cubis bien caché sous le bar cette fameuse bouteille qui en effet était déjà bien entamée avant notre arrivée....) la bouteille à bien évidement été renvoyée ...Plats de résistance insipides et pourtant ce n'était que des pâtes à la boulo et carbo, meme mon enfant de 6 ans n'a pas aiméses pâtes.. c pour dire , quant à mes Gambas flambées elles baignaient dans un jus d'eau ??? Et n'avaient aucun goût - Nous n'avons donc pas souhaité prendre de dessert logique .. et bien le menu enfant du petit a été compté en totalité malgré tout ..Nous avons fait part de notre mécontentement au serveur et on ne peut pas dire que les responsables soient commerçants ...120 euros de facture dont 58 euros de boisson pour un repas soit disant italien mais à la limite du mangeable c'est une honte À ne surtout pas conseiller- c'était ma première visite mais surtout la dernière ..."

"We started just calling in for coffee in both morning and afternoon. Our faces were soon recognised and some conversation ensued. Eventually we determined that the Paroisse served food at lunch time so we gave it a try. We enjoyed thoroughly French fare served quickly and it looked good in the plate. It tasted good on the tongue. My wife had a large tuna and vegetables and a café gourmand. This was as big as a normal desert and an unctuous chocolate sauce. I went with a salad of magret, gésiers and rôti de porc, under which was a bed of chips. We planned to go the following Monday, but it was another restaurant that was closed on Mondays."
