"Looking for somewhere new to have Sunday lunch I once again had a read of the reviews and decided to give it a go. It certainly lived up to all the good things written about it and well worth the visit. We were a group of four and had one of the set menus which was €22 per person. Very nice antipasti followed by delicious zuppa di farro, gnocchi ortolana and tagliatelle alle noci. One had to be careful as the portions were generous and the main course was still to come. This was really tasty cinghiale in salmi, grilled rosemary lamb with sformato and roast potatoes as sides. As if that was not enough there were two desserts and coffee to follow. Wine, water and fresh bread were all included in the very reasonable price. Needless to say dinner was not needed that evening and I look forward to a return to sample some of the other delights on the menu."

Chiar di Luna was a nice experience even not enjoying the fabulous view to the mountains because of bad weather. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Starting with big portion of very nice antipasti we came close to our limits enjoying our main course. We can only recomend to pay a visit!

We stumbled upon this restaurant when the place we had wanted to go was closed, and it was a great find. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. The pizza selection has all the standard choices but includes some truly inspired combinations. The pasta was all homemade and the portions are abundant. Overall great restaurant.

We stopped for lunch yesterday and the host could not do enough for us. They prepared us chestnuts macaroni with italian sausages and spaghetti alle vongole and both di dishes were fantastic. However my wife absolutely loved the filet steak... she said it was the best she had in a very long time. Further more clearly is a family business and it was priceless to be able to meet the chefs and family We surely be back thank you very much

I have been there with ny father after a suggestion and I think I have found a really interesting place. The atmosphere is nice, the right mixture of modern and traditional. The staff is really kind and polite. We have eaten a seafood menu composed by 3 starters and spaghetti allo scoglio as our main course. The food was all perfect, really tasteful. And last but not least the bill: 2 seafood menus composed as I have said, a dessert, a coffee, a bottle of house Wine and a bottle of water, Total sum of 47 euro!!! Really good value for money...I definitly suggest this place and I think there is every likelyhood I will return there...

Chiar di Luna was clearly one of the best restaurants for both food and experience. We were seated at a window that offered a beautiful view of the mountains. We started with antipasti of fried polenta and local mushrooms and generous tastings of local cheeses with honey and fig jam...all to die for!! We then had the tagliatelle with mushrooms and the home made chestnut gnocchi with sage, pancetta, and butter...indescribably delicious! To top off an excellent meal, the owner had the chef (his wife) fulfill my request for fritelle di castagne, fried chestnut pancakes with whipped cream. Who does that?! At the end of our meal the owner offered two of his home made digestivs, strawberry and blu...
