"My 9-year-old son ordered a burger that took a long time to come out, but he didn't say anything until he had already eaten half of it. However, the manager replaced his meal at no charge, gave us a 30% discount on our bill, and threw in free chips and guacamole. I was very impressed with the customer service - 5/5 stars for that. The food was delicious, but having moved from San Antonio, Texas to Lincoln, I can't give it the top rating. It didn't quite live up to the authentic Tex-Mex cuisine I was used to. I will definitely be returning and recommending the restaurant to others."

The food is really tasty when it's served fresh! I went to this restaurant with a friend last weekend and we ordered a side of spicy rice. Unfortunately, it came out cold and very hard.

"Booked here via email phone didn’t seem to work) because of the reviews and it was great. It’s small, bistro like with a very friendly atmosphere. Brought 2 bottles of own wine. 3 out of 4 drinking so charged corkage £7.50 total) for 3. This was fantastic value. The food was excellent and very filling could not manage a dessert. There is also outside seating which would be good as long as it doesn’t rain. Would definitely return if in Lincoln again."

"We always have a great meal here. Kine is a little bit different to a lot of restaurants around Lincoln. It totally has it 's own style and vibe. The menu is very compact, with just a handful of starters, mains and deserts. But... That is precisely why I like it. Each option (and I have been 3 times now) is well crafted, full of flavour and just a little bit different AND totally accesible. Everything option feels special, but not intimidating. The battered green beans are incredible, the n 'duja mac 'N ' cheese balls are great, the spiced koftas are full of flavour. The vege options are just as appealing and tasty as the meat options, which for me is an excellent reflection on the creativity and talent of the team. The front of house staff are accomodating, charming, polite and fun and the whole vibe has a bit of the je ne sais quoi about it. For a meal out for a couple, or small group who appreciate good honest and interesting food, I would highly recommend it. "I visited the Hub Cafe at the IBCC with my daughter for Sunday lunch. I had heard good reports, but was blown away by the quality of the food and the friendly service. We had roast lamb (cooked to perfection) with roast potatoes, brocolli, carrots, creamy mash, and a giant Yorkshire pudding to rival my late Mother's. The portions were very generous leaving no room for dessert. It's not what you expect, The Hub Cafe far exceeds expectations and is well worth a visit for Sunday lunch, corporate and family events. One word sums it up...Superb"

"Booked the Jews House based on reviews as this was our first visit to Lincoln and I prefer not to wander around looking for somewhere suitable on the first night in a new place. The restaurant is cosy and feels quite intimate and my husband and I chose from the a la carte menu. Portions are small, but beautifully cooked and presented, and the warm 'bag ' of bread would help those with larger appetites. The sommelier is hugely knowledgeable and very willing to offer suggestions if required. My husband and I eat well and regularly visit lovely restaurants. The Jews House is probably one of the best restaurants we have eaten at and even the filter coffee at the end of the meal was unbelievably good."
