"Though this might be the first review I ever write on this site, it is not the first I read. As it so happened, I had some time to kill before boarding my next train, so I decided eating something would be a good Idea. After checking up online, I ended up picking this place, based on the positive reviews it had, even though I had to walk for 15 minutes to get there. Oh boy, was that a mistake.. After walking over there, I ended up in front of a closed door. Inside there were people eating, all of who seemed like they worked there, sharing a big table in the middle. It took them 30 seconds, althiugh I was acknowledged right away, to point at the other door, which as it appeared, was the main entrance. All I got up to this point were empty stares. As soon as I got in and ordered the "Yufka Special", I asked for the restroom (all in perfect german), but all I got was a mumbled "Hier, kein Klo", meaning it was all again in vain. The Yufka used a pre made store-bought bread, which was kind of surprising. For 5€ one would expect they'd make it themselves. The meat tasted alright, so did the vegetables, the sauce was way too thick and fat, almost mayonnaise-like. The "special" part I had payed extra for appeared to be 2 tiny slices of cheese, which to me was a joke. The size of the whole thing was sufficient at best, more like "I could have gotten another one, but thank God I didn't." All in all: Awful customer service, overpriced, small portions and no restroom. Never again. Bear in mind I registered to only write that review. So gigantic was my disappointment. Disclaimer: I have visited "döner-shops" in every major city in Germany, as well as in a broad range of countries all around Europe."

almost every time I'm on my way to the region, I'll look past this bite. I've never been disappointed! the döner tastes delicious, the bun as well and you are served friendly. the portions are in my opinion luxuriant, even if one takes a portion of pommes, one is sure to be filled :-) . there is always something going on, depending on that one has to wait a few minutes, but it is worth it.

I visit Herrenberg at least once a year; my first food stop there is City Imbiss because they serve very, very tasty and generously filled yufka doners. I've eaten many yulfka doners at many doner fast food places and City Imbiss' tastes the best to me. The meat is lightly seasoned, the yufka tender, the vegetables fresh, and the white sauce creamy. The Imbiss is nothing fancy but the food is great, reasonable, and the service is good (as long as you can speak at least basic German).

I visit herrenberg at least once a year; my first food stop there is city snack because they serve very, very tasty and generously filled yufka donators. I have eaten many yulfka dispensers at many doner almost food sites and city snacks' tastes the best for...I. the meat is lightly seasoned, the yufka tender, the sweet fresh and the white sauce creamy. the snack is nothing imaginative, but eating is great, reasonable, and the service is good (as long as you can speak at least German).
