"I wrote to the manager about our complaints and had no reply. Only after we arrived for dinner did we find out that the menu we had looked at was not available and indeed the menu was very restricted. We should have been told when...we booked that the usual menu as advertised on the website does not apply on Sunday evenings or it should be made clear online. I chose steak and chips. The steak arrived without the chips. The staff member seemed bemused that I should expect chips but then disappeared. Another arrived to ask if we were enjoying our meal. I told him about the absence of chips, he quickly returned to say that they would be 2 minutes. The chips never arrived. Finally after the meal another staff member asked if we had enjoyed the meal and I again mentioned the absence of chips. Finally we were disturbed by the fact that no member of staff wore a mask. (Between dinner, reception and breakfast we saw a lot of staff Mask wearing is of course not mandatory but it is recommended in enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet. At other restaurants and hotels we have been to most, although not all, of the staff wore masks. Clearly at Casa there is a policy not to wear masks. This is disrespectful to the safety of customers particularly when Covid cases in England are soaring."

This is a very good Spanish restaurant within the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield . Good menu and food well cooked and presented. Good wine list. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Table of 2 on a Mondey night. Really friendly staff, food was amazing, I had gammon wich one was amazing and for dessert I had Strawberry Cheescake, wich one was not how I expected to be looks good, but don't really taste at strawberry. One...think wich one I personally didn't like is the fact that you have only little bottles of Coke, I prefer draught coke.

we have visited this hotel and restaurant at a series of locations, but that was the best visit still. beautiful tapas to begin and then one of the best paella we ever had and we had a few in Spain. personal. very friendly and helpful with at least two beings from Spain. I agree that it is worth visiting chesterfield, just eating here. the breakfast leaves something to be desired, but then they are not rechargeable and poor and one for it.

We booked a table for two for lunch. I had the cod from the Christmas menu and my friend has the lasagne. When the dishes came they were beautifully presented and excellently cooked. We both enjoyed our meals. We then decided to have the Christmas...pudding for dessert. We can both confirm this is the best, ever, Christmas pudding we have ever eaten. I wish I could buy one to take home for Christmas day. The service, as always, was excellent.

chateaubriand die! a festive booked and was not disappointed. the team was amazing and made us a special feeling. my partner celebrated his driving test and all tried to congratulate him. that was excellent. I can't do that enough. the only disadvantage was that the portions are so generous that I could not manage the cheeseboard that looked amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. the personal is incredible and eating is excellent. after our meal we went to the bar for drinks and the welcome here was just as warm as the restaurant. thanks to all those who make this place an amazing tasty bite for every celebration.

We are staying at the casa hotel for a wedding the night before and the the night of, so we wanted to go for a nice meal beforehand. Perfect that there is a lovely trendy restaurant onsite. We didn't book a table but they got...us in no trouble. The food was AMAZING! the staff were FABULOUS they couldn't do enough for us. It was also nice that we didn't have one wait on staff dedicated to our table, we got to talk to quite a few of the staff and have a bit of a giggle. We also gifted a pen to one of the staff that kept on forgetting one and he was over the moon with it Thank you again! We look forward to seeing you for breakfast this morning and tomorrow morning

My husband and I dined here to celebrate his birthday, and can confirm the restaurant has delicious food, a warm ambience and refined decor. The waiting staff do a great job of a more formal service style, whilst still interacting with guests and adding to...the experience. A Maitre D’ to formally welcome diners would add a special touch, and would suit the restaurant style lifting the experience a little more. Food wise we had Tapas (delicious) and steak; the steaks are cooked on a charcoal grill and the quality of the meat is beautiful. Our only criticism is that the peppercorn sauce was a little thin and bland, but that could be down to personal taste! We will definitely return and highly...
