"Expectations not met ... no Sunday lunches on offer was told when we arrived “we haven’t anything left “ this was at 5.45 ?? They had tried to ring us and I checked missed call at 5.40 but Was driving unable to answer phone a bit short notice anyway! Not good really saying it was Sunday and advertised as one of the main options on the daily menu “bad management “ we did order another option and it was nicely presented and very tasty but steak served on a wooden platter Doesn’t work when you order sauce as a side just got messy.. on requesting our bill and ready to pay we was then told they couldn’t take card payments and was taking cash only !!! Why tell you at the end of your meal ? Embarrassing!! nobody carry’s much cash around with them was lucky there was a cash machine across from restaurant.. may I suggest you tell your customers before sitting down . Would I go again Yes I think I would Maybe we just picked the wrong day ."

"Went on Saturday the food was amazing until I found a long black hair in my food my friends finished there food, we told the waitress when collecting plates, I was offered another meal but my friend's had finished, I thought they would knock it off my bill but never even offered"

"I had luck eating twice in moor hall so my expectations of the barn were high, we were not disappointed! at the arrival the area looks absolutely stunning all illuminated. the restaurant on the top floor sprudeled with a really nice atmosphere, we were led to bar for a drink, then quickly sitting on our table. we went for the festive menu, which was beautiful and very good value for money, which was eating well cooked and very well presented and the side of the carlotte kartoffels was divine! and the cheese mmm my daughter who arrived in the time for dessert was no problem, and a chair was quickly found and a teller cheese came without problems. the pianist in the background added the atmosphere, all in a beautiful evening and I look forward to our next visit."

"We always order from here but the last 2 weeks has not been a good experience for us the food is very poor it was excellent until now meat is not soft anymore like chewing on bones and no meat and the soup is usually thick and tasty but it is now watery and not very tasty we are hoping this is not going to turn into a regular thing but twice now it was just a waste of money had to throw away if this carries on will not be returning or recommending at all and usual we would can't understand what has happened and seem to be different staff."
