"Driving around the northern part of the Isle of Skye, we stopped for the quick lunch in Staffin. We ended up in the Columba 1400 Café that is part of the Columba 1400 project. We took the cullen skink with homemade bread and a local Scottish cider. We were served quickly and everything was delicious. Thirty minutes later, we were hitting the road."

We made a quick stop for coffee on our way to Staffin Beach. The restaurant had beautiful views and a bright and cheerful atmosphere. The staff were kind and friendly. The latte and mocha we ordered were delicious.

While me and my family were heading home from a day trip, we had a sudden urge of hunger so we stopped at the nearest cafe/restaurant . To be honest it took too long for the food to come out and my father told me...

Lovely community feel, staff were very friendly, good vegan options (I had a chickpea sandwich and soup and oat milk and cake). Seemed to get quite busy, they had to turn people away. Nice little gift shop in the same premises and clean toilets. The...

Thought this was going to be a place for a sandwich or cake but they serve a full menu with something for everyone. We were very pleasantly surprised, great food and good value. We tried the burger and highland game casserole both were delicious. Would...

After reading reviews we booked for lunch. The place is nice and the ethos is commendable however, the food was awful. None of the party ate much except the coleslaw dressing. The ‘Cullen skink’ was watery leek and potato soup with one piece of haddock,...

Fabulous place on Skye. A social enterprise located in a beautiful building. Incredibly friendly staff serving up good quality food. Delicious salads and wraps. The homemade bread was just fantastic. Highly recommended if you're fortunate enough to be in this part of the world.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea at Columba 1400. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was excellent and beautifully arranged. We were unable to eat everything in one sitting, so the staff kindly offered to pack the leftovers for us to take home. We were fortunate to be seated by the front windows, which offered a stunning view.
