I lived on the Isle of Wight until I was 19 and come back to see parents for past 30 years and this was my first trip to Albert cottage. We went for lunch and what a gem. 100% recommended. Very classy, great roast. Recommended as a really nice place to eat. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

This is our 5th time staying here and as usual we had a lovely room and great food at breakfast and in the evening. Our only problem over the last 2 visits is that residents are made to feel less important than people in for a private function. Some in-house training to staff on how to handle these issues would make such a difference. Rooms: 5 View menu

As residents of the island, we've enjoyed several visits in the past, including the New Year's Eve ball, afternoon tea, and an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. Those experiences were always top-notch, but this time was unfortunately very different. We felt rushed, and it seems the restaurant shouldn't have taken dinner reservations while they were preoccupied with other events. Given this experience, we are uncertain about returning in the future.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Albert Cottage Hotel with five of my girlfriends. The staff, especially Phil, made us feel very welcome and were incredibly helpful and cheerful. We must thank the chef and kitchen staff for providing us with first-class meals. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished. I can’t wait to return for a longer stay at Albert Cottage Hotel soon (Phil, we’ll make sure to fully study the bus timetable next time!). Rooms: 5

We have just had an amazing two night stay at The Albert Cottage Hotel. The beautiful historic building had the sense of old world charm mixed with all you needed for a luxury charming stay. Staff were very friendly and worked hard to make you feel like a special guest. Food was exquisite, we experienced breakfast, evening meal and on the 2nd day we had an amazing cream tea.
