"Visited for lunch on a day trip to Cowes. Its hidden gem, one of the few restaurants you must visit while visiting IOW. This was our second visit, but definitely not the last. Full of character, great atmosphere, buzzing. They were really busy, and because we didn't book table beforehand, we waited around 10 min for them to get one ready for us, but it was worth it. The food was incredible as always, with plenty of options. The stuff was great, very attentive. We'll be back."

Such a gem in a beautiful little town centre. we walked past had a look at the menu and it was the highlight of our evening. highly recommend this restaurant, staff are lovely, food is to die for and the restaurant is quirky. Thank you so much for such a lovely meal.

Found the restaurant by luck but we was pleasantly surprised by the food. Excellent sea food starter with sea bass for main. Cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had steak and she was very pleased too. Slightly overpriced but worth it for the quality of the food. Service was ok.

Had a lovely day out and lost track of time. Stumbled across The coast bar after realising that almost every other place had closed their kitchens for the evening. Easy access via the high street. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff. High quality dishes presented in a superb manner. The atmosphere was lovely. Absolutely nothing to fault. Well worth a visit. View menu

A last minute Sunday late lunch was most enjoyable. Food was excellent. I had the wild mushrooms on toast and my wife had the soup. Both dishes arrived quickly. Service was probably the best we have received in a long time, home and abroad. Georgina was friendly, extremely efficient and kind, Often restaurants use students at the weekend and can be a bit hit and miss but Georgina reminded us that providing great service is a real skill. Hats off to her!
