"we have often been in this restaurant in recent years, but this is a whole new experience. Drinks were excellent, but the rest was a real disappointment. first we ordered fish that came into the blande and bitter. I usually don't send it back, but it wasn't possible. it was then replaced by another meal by us on our request, but how badly evolved. we received no apology, no free drink or snack. note that we were charged the full amount including service fee. it is a real shame because the place is beautiful and the prices are not low. but the owners should really rethink their employee training in terms of food quality and service. not sure we are back until the change of managements. they condemn their time and their money is not wasted."

absolutely amazing restaurant. not one of the tourist cases of restaurants. real Italian cuisine of the best quality. the personal is amazing and regularly check in. Eating is very, very good. Environment is exceptional.

Contini is just as good as Joanna Blythman says and she is the best food writer in Britain! Victor was the perfect host our waiters were delightful and the £16 lunch was vg and we 3 tried all the elements! The mousse was to die for and the house white was excellent so we will be back maybe for the bigger menu! Hugh Kerr

a nice date, much expected, but ultimately disappointed. the courts were not worth the price. I was a little underwhelmed. the venue was nice inside and most staff were friendly. but yes, unfortunately only really disappointed from eating. the tiramisu hardly tasted anything. I tried my partner gnocchi in tomato sauce, I thought that was a winner, and they even managed to be quite boring and tasteless. a real scandal. also was said the pints of the beer were pints. they were not pints, more like 330ml. for £6, that's pretty bad.
