Agrituristica Del Lungomonte Pisano

Dopo una salita sotto il sole al Monte Serra, abbiamo fatto un buonissimo pranzo e una sosta rinfrescante.

Mi piace tantissimo questo posto, che frequento da quando ero studente, circa trentacinque anni fa. Bellissima location, accanto ad una chiesina sconsacrata, con vista stupenda. Locali accoglienti in stile rustico toscano, cucina locale. Ottimi tutti i piatti, antipasto ricco (ma stasera mancava la pasta fritta con gli affettati... ma devo fare solo un appunto: per favore non spezzate i tagliolini in due. Una pugnalata, i tagliolini lunghi 10 cm. Prezzi giustissimi.

Andati per pranzo in 4 persone. Premetto che siamo stati a questo ristaramte moltissime volte in passato e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Non sapevamo però che fosse cambiata la gestione. Questa volta ci siamo trvati malissimo causa personale a dir poco indisponibile. Siamo andati via a metà pranzo. Antipasto al di sotto della media e primo lasciato quasi per intero dato che i tortelli erano non cotti. Peccato che il locale sia degenerato in questo maniera dopo il cambio gestione. Non credo torneremo più.

Pensando di trovare la gestione di prima, ho portato alcuni amici, sapendo di trovare una cucina casalinga, un servizio decente, un ' aria casalinga come in effetti era prima. Ma invece ho trovato una gestione nuova, con un menù banale, una cucina mediocre e un servizio e un personale diciamo di sala pessimo, dove addirittura invece di servire singolarmente ogni commensale, davano malamente il piatto alla persona più vicina, per poi passarlo al destinatario, come se queste persone fossero a casa loro. Come dicono da queste parti un servizio ghiozzo. Sicuramente non metterò più piede in questo posto, ma sicuramente lo sconsigliero ' a decine di persone e amici. View menu

We had a great meal at this pearl of a restaurant. We were staying just outside Calci and decided to drive up into the mountains to visit this place, and we were not disappointed. This place is beautifully situated and feels very authentic and true to its Tuscan roots. For antipasti we chose the selection of cold hams and the prosciutto with mozzarella. We then went for a primi with pasta, fresh cherry tomatoes and cheese. And a secundi of the wild boar. The boar was really good, and the pasta was the best we tasted through our 10 days stay in Tuscany. The house wine also tasted great with the chosen food. I stayed in the Agrituristica del Lungomonte Pisanos Guest/farmhouse approx one km. down the road fro the restaurant (can be booked through booking.com or their own webpage . You are basically at the end of a dirt road, approx 400 mts above sea level with total peace, serenity and amazing views all the way to Pisa in the distance. There were only a few couples residing in the farmhouse, as there are a few rooms only. The house is spotlessly clean and has a kitchen (no service available on the farm . NOW walking up to the restaurant for dinner is great (remember to book a table, as it is a popular one and I hear people come all the way from Switzerland to dine here! . The atmosphere is unbeat...
