"Amazing food and amazing service, we were all super impressed, especially considering the very reasonable prices. I forget our waiter’s name but he was from Hungary, was super friendly and gave us excellent service throughout. Booked last minute just because it had a table free and ended up having one of the the most surprisingly excellent meals we’ve ever had in England. Seriously, we were laughing throughout the meal at how ridiculously good it was for the price, almost Twilight Zone value. Thoroughly recommend!"

We went for the prix fixe lunch. The starter, a salad, was good. The main course was good but it would have been really good if the accompanying vegetables were not mainly potato. Overall good food at a fair price.

Although service was initially slow, due to unseasonably warm weather and Resturant outside seats were very busy. 19 degrees in November weather amazing Staff pulled it off, they were efficient and friendly and the food was great Overall a great team and food

Two of the dishes I liked were off because they'd run out of eggs. On a normal week day with supermarkets selling eggs all around us? Can't believe they didn't just buy a box for a couple of pounds. When I asked for a beer, I was offered a premium brand I didn't want twice and declined twice, but they brought it anyway. Cynical upselling? Food was good though.

The service wasn't great, quite slow and no one came back to check if anyone wanted anymore drinks at any point. In fact we had to go up to someone to request one. Asked for bread and olives for the table, literally got enough for 1 piece of bread each. Food was fine, but portions for the main was quite small. The 8oz steak and chips looked a bit lost on the plate with a bit of garnish. Not sure I'd go back again.
