"We visited Cramptons late on a Saturday about 3.00pm and were lucky as the kitchen closes at 3.15pm. We ordered the large salsa nachos to share. When they came up the plate was huge with nachos covered in melted cheese, salsa, jalapeno peppers and separate pots of guacemole and sour cream. They were delicious and more than enough for two.I am disabled and in a wheelchair and they have a big disabled toilet which is spotlessly clean but has no lock so if people who can't be bothered to use the ordinary toilets need to go they can just walk in! Luckily this did not happen to me. I presume it is for safety reasons in case someone gets stuck in there. We read the menu while waiting for our food and they really have a lovely selection which is very reasonably priced. The other customers were really helpful holding the doors open so my husband could get me out in the wheelchair as the door opening is quite narrow.Altogether a great place and we will be back."

The food here is excellent value and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The £5 2 course meal deal is exceptionally good value, with the best soup.

We visited here for lunch as a family. Sat in a lovely 'beach hut ' in the garden and ordered lunch from the £5 lunch meal deal. Not only was this cheap food it was also delicious. Plus service was 5 star! Would recommend

Visit here often with a friend for lunch. Staff are lovely and attentive. Food is delicious and they do a meal deal which is soup or garlic bread and a meal for a fiver which is a massive bargain. Drinks reasonably priced. Large sun trap beer garden. Highly recommended as a place to have lunch.

Popped in to Cramptons yesterday for a late lunch. A 2 course lunch for £5.00 sounded excellent value for money and it didn't disappoint. I opted for the Soup (Tomato) followed by Chilli Rice, and my wife for a whole Garlic Bread followed by Lasagne with Salad. Very tasty, plenty of food, and tasted excellent. Highly recommended.

You can't beat this place for a £5 two-course meal deal 7 days a week. That's for a starter and main course. Very simple choices. Starters: Soup or a whole baguette of Garlic Bread. Main: Does vary a bit, but usually a Curry, Spaghetti Bolognese, Chile, Chicken dish, Ham/egg/chips, Scampi/Chips. Good size portions and nicely cooked. There is always a veggie option too. The waitresses are really friendly. Very clean, but simple. Highly recommended for a good cheap pub lunch. I go there a lot with friends.
