"We are on our way to valley of temples and decided to grab a bite before. Based on the online reviews, we picked this place. We ordered a mix of seafood as the starter. This one is pretty good, it gives you a taste of different things. Then we had pasta of mixed seafood and pasta of ink. The pasta of ink was way too salty for us. The pasta of seafood does not have much flavor and I ended up dripping some olive oil over the pasta. The service was slow given that there were only two tables including us."

If we were at school the vote would be 6.- all just enough, from food to staff to the environment. is not a mandatory stop for those who go to port empedocle. average prices, maybe a little high for what we received.

A local person told us this was one of the best restaurants in the area. It did not disappoint! Great food with excellent service. Traditional Italian options and you can choose between ala cart or a prix fixe menu. The kids also loved their pasta. View menu

We came in November, the staff was really friendly, a very cozy atmosphere! I thought due to the prices being relatively cheap it might not be so good, i was blown away( i had the vongolle spaghetti), it has been one of the best meals I've had in Sicily

We traveled Sicily for 2 weeks and in this restaurant we had the absolute(!! best pasta of the vacation! No one else could top their spaghetti con le sarde, not even fancy, expensive restaurants. Also the spaghetti al nero di seppie was delicious. Staff is nice and they made room for us for lunch even if the restaurant was full. Reserve in advance, though.

"I am not usually one for writing reviews but the following needs to be said. We booked based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor and were so disappointed that we left after the anti pasti. The dining room had all the atmosphere of a school dining room, even the distant temples could not compensate. The service was sub standard from outset and only deteriorated. This is not a restaurant it is a hotel dining room and not even a very stylish one. The wine list had so many options crossed out that it looked as if they hadn’t restocked in a while. Despite asking recommendations the staff only offered the white they had open so I decided not to go with a bottle. The food was not cheap but based on reviews I expected good things and being in sight of the sea I went with the seafood anti pasti to be followed by tuna. The seafood was poor, not fresh and the prawns were so far gone they had the texture of paste. As a result of the quality of the food on top of the poor room and poor service we left the table and went to reception to register our dissatisfaction. Even after such feedback they still charged for what we had had although with a discount. Now, writing this within half an hour of leaving, I have already developed stomach cramps and sweats. I can tell I have an evening of unpleasantness ahead… the classic dodgy prawn! This is not the experience I expected from the Academy of Good Taste and cannot recommend it in any way. If in search of a good restaurant the advice from this trip keep scrolling!"
