"I must say that I was expecting more from the place. The young guys serving was really nice and kind (speaking great english. Good for those who do not speak german) The decoration and atmosphere with the music was great (maybe music too loud); Loads of young lads. The sausage was average, however, the fries were extremely good; Crunchy with great flavour. I was coming from Prague, which is far cheaper than Dresden, so the price for the menu turned out to be a bit expensive. I repeat, I came from Prague which is a very very cheap country. I do recommend the place."

The currywurst and fries were worth the visit but service wasn't so good. And the location, it is very near the student district.

They do Currywurst. and they do it very well. There's not a whole lot more going on in the place. but the chips were a nice accompaniment

I hate sausages but come on! This one is just A M A Z I N G . End of story. Just try the most typical one with some pommes and live your night like a German.

There's nothing else I can say. Get the boiled sausage with Hon and Soy sauce or the random 4th combintation and you will not regret it. The peanut sauce is also amazing.

Previous reviews are over-rated. Different options of sausage with curry flavor, including a smoky version and a vegetarian version. They were okay, but nothing to write home about. The French fries were excellent, though, and were nicely crisp.

This place serves a variety of sausages and sauces - it's a pretty decent fast food joint. It is nothing special, however, but hits the spot at the right time, I'm sure. The fries were pretty good, the sausage was average (I had the smoked sausage).

There might be a short line all the time but this curry wurst is totally worth the wait! Awesome fries, very generous with sauces and lots of options to choose from. What more can you ask for?Friendly staff as well, accommodating my complex request of curry-to-wurst ratio and distribution! Bitte!

Small shop, nice little tables. Great tasting Vegan Currywurst and the fries were great too. Added extra was Rock music being played in the shop. The only downside was the curry wasn't hot (spicy) enough compared to home. All in all, a great little food place in a colourful part of Dresden. Loved the little holes in the table to put your fries in.

we had the original taste and the smoked curry sausage from this restaurant. it was pretty good for the price we paid, although I found the smoked version for my taste somewhat too strong. I preferred the original that my partner ordered. they liked the smoked better, so we just sworn and it was good. I wouldn't go here for a big meal, but it's great as a after-evening out alternative to a kebab.

"I stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated, it is on the 5th floor, and I passed it a couple of times but it was always empty. One reason, I think, is that the menu is rather obscure, with slashes between the dish description as inscallop/saffron/guava/back puddingA little off- putting, I felt. However, as a lone diner, I was getting pretty fed up of waiting for bad food each evening, although in a beautiful setting, Dresden's main square and its surrounds. So on my last night I treated myself and got a table on the roof terrace. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and produced a good selection of bread. It's clear there are 5 courses, an appetiser, a hot starter, a soup course, a main and dessert. I didn't want the soup. This wasn't a problem. To start, I had quail's egg/chick/gorgonzola/rocket, but it was so much more than that! It had a delicious fried bread cube, a gorgonzola sorbet, and crumbled herbs to garnish. It was, superb. But the description is selling itself short! The hot starter was also good, scallops in a saffron sauce, with a black pudding jelly. The "guava" ends up on the dish as a smear, nothing more. My main was beef/capers/sour cherries/ smoked aubergine, but again, more- a delicious sauce, and perfect mash- a small amount, but perfect....There are 3 dessert options, I enjoyed a nougat with gold leaf. In all, the food was beautifully presented, and the best food in Dresden so far, on a par, that is, with Kallemeiers where you have to book a table. This place deserves the same popularity but is selling itself short with the odd menu descriptions. It scares people off, like myself. I urge you to go and try for yourself. There's a great evening to be had, in a stunning setting."
