"This has to be the highest restaurant in the Lago di Como area. The views of the lake and the mountains are phenomenal. The food is outstanding. The best 'Stinko ' I 've ever eaten...fork tender, was 9 Euro, with a large helping of Pizzoccheri. The tricky drive up is worth it. Try to arrive at 1130, make reservations for 1330, and take the moderate walk to the top of Monte Croce. It 's about 45 minutes to the cross, and it 's a circular route. The views of the lake and mountains are spectacular. We will be back."

"We arrived at the restaurant after an afternoon of hiking to Monte Croce. At first we were unsure if they would even let us inside due to our sport clothes, because the pictures of the menu looked very fancy. However, this was not an issue and we found that the atmosphere of the restaurant was indeed quite laid back. We were offered delicious arancini and home made grissini on the house. We ordered a tuna tataki in ponzu sauce and a truffle oil beef carpaccio as a starter. The cook was so kind to accomodate separating our carpaccio in two portions because i cannot tolerate truffle oil. As a main dish we had pasta with shrimps and tomatoes and raviolis with goat cheese. Our dessert sent both of us jumping from our chairs: a catalan cream with cinnamon crumble and ice cream. The food was definitely prepared with love and of the highest quality, exactly what the doctor ordered after a long hike. Service was very friendly and even the Chef came outside at some point to make sure everything was okay. This was hands down the best food experience of our trip, and although it was not the cheapest, the food-quality ratio here has absolutely nothing to do with the overpriced restaurants around Como Lake. It is quite “off-the-beaten-path” for most tourist but it is definitely worth the trip and the money!!!"

"Non conoscevamo questo posto, ci hanno portato dei nostri amici. Sale ben arredate e grandi, peccato i tavoli appiccicati , non è il caso visto il periodo che stiamo passando! Menù scritto su fogli,.ma senza prezzi , comunque il conto è stato apprezzabile: 76,00 euro per due antipasti ,tre primi, quattro secondi con contorno, due sorbetti al limone, io non l'ho nemmeno finito perché era disgustoso, in bocca di sentiva il gusto della polvere di cui era sicuramente composto. Al pagamento del conto, non abbiamo visto uno scontrino con i prezzi delle portate, ma solo la ricevuta della carta di credito! Forse fanno il prezzo a forfait? Trattoria nella norma, ne abbiamo frequentato di meglio, non penso che ci verremo ancora!"

"Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per un pranzo di lavoro (a inizio maggio in quanto tutti i ristoranti erano chiusi per giorno di riposo (mercoledì Ho ordinato ravioli con ragu di salsiccia. Il piatto era abbondante, ho iniziato a mangiare per poi rendermi conto che i ravioli sul fondo erano pieni di muffa. Chiamo subito il cameriere e gli chiedo per cortesia di farlo notare in cucina, lui senza nemmeno scusarsi prende il piatto e va in cucina per poi tornare con il contorno senza proferire parola sull'accaduto. Scocciata, in cassa faccio notare il tutto alla ragazza che visibilmente imbarazzata dell'accaduto mi chiede scusa confermando che non ne sapeva niente e che il ragazzo era nuovo ed inesperto pertanto di non incolparlo. Successivamente però si contraddice affermando che il ragazzo le aveva detto dell'accaduto chiedendole di venire al tavolo e scusarsi, cosa che peró non è stata fatta. Alla fine, giustamente, non mi hanno pagare, ma solo perché l'ho fatto notare io perché già mi era stato fatto il conto. Questa mancanza di rispetto non mi è piaciuta, venire al tavolo e scusarsi era il minimo. Non mi è stato nemmeno chiesto se volessi altro da mangiare nonostante metà piatto fosse stato riportato indietro. Mi sento presa in giro perché sono una ragazza giovane e sono certa che se ciò fosse accaduto a persone più adulte si sarebbero comportati diversamente. Non consiglio questo posto a nessuno, il pranzo di lavoro costa poco ma abbiamo tutti capito il perché. Grande mancanza di professionalità sia dello staff che del cuoco che non si è mai palesato per scusarsi. Alla fine per due giorni ho avuto il sapore di muffa in bocca, mai più! Allego foto"

"Today we came to the family at three cases and lunch. Nice small, rustic, cosy and family-run. We ordered mixed appetizers in people. To follow first bis (resotto pears and cutting and chestnut flour dumplings with bacon and saffron) and risotto. Follow the deer's mouth with seasonal vegetables (patate, green beans and even polenta). To conclude sweets of the house, including Macedonians. Coffee, bitters and bottle of grappa homemade on the table. We accompanied everything with bottles of peacock and water. We ate well, and we're ociti sazi. We spent with discount, about per person"
