"Quaint little restaurant that is just down the road from Hotel de la Ville (see my other review). the concierge at our hotel made a reservation for us but it didn't seem like we really needed one. The staff was friendly and spoke a little English which was helpful for us since it was our first night in Italy and none of us spoke a lot of Italian. We had a group of five and they accommodated us easily. We ordered a shrimp cocktail appetizer which was tasty but different than I expected. it came with a big bed of lettuce and a mayonnaise based cocktail sauce already spread on it (almost like a small salad). One person ordered the prawns which were very good but I'd recommend adding a second course or a side of vegetables with it. One person ordered a calzone which was pretty good and another ordered a shrimp and mussel pasta which was really good. I got Sea Bass that had some sauteed red onions and then thin sliced fried potatoes on top...absolutely delicious!! After dinner we all ordered dessert gelato, italian cheesecake and tiramisu. If you haven't had Italian cheesecake, be aware that they use ricotta instead of cream cheese. It was very good but if you are expecting an american style cheesecake this will be a little different. I think i liked it better than the normal cream cheese version. The gelato was good and the chocolate flavor is REALLY rich so one scoop is enough. Reasonable prices, decent service and great food overall!"

Great pizza! It’s more Sicily style because of not so slim cake but still one of the best we have ever had!

Food is ok, even if a bit overpriced. Having to wait 50 minutes for a cotoletta at a non-crowded lunch-time is a bit excessive, though.

The setting is a little sad also the people working there are not so friendly. This restaurant could be really nice ,it needs a facelift

I came in and asked for a table for one and the staff acted as if I was really bothering them. The dining room manager(owner? had time To seat a few other couples and provide a snack gift and a chat to the nearby table. He also had time to remove the other serving set on my table. But the woman and young man also waiting tables couldn’t find time for me. I did get a menu. After 10 minutes I left and no one said a word. There is a delightful cafe in the parque reale just minutes walk away. The staff was lovely helpful informative and thoughtful go there and skip this disaster called Gigi.

Booked a table here in advance , due to our hotel location, so that we could be sure of getting dinner after spending the whole Sunday at the Italian GP without wandering around the whole city. Everywhere was busy as expected. The friendly waitress remembered our reservation. We had a nice table on the covered patio. Nice selection on menu. We both chose pizzas a bottle of prosecco. Good service. Pizza dough was much thicker than expected, so ended up wasting crusts. Tasted ok but very chewy. Ended up just eating the topping which was nice. Prices were at the top of the scale v quality of the food.

"first experience at karni braci. arrivals and welcomes you a large parking lot, partly shady and asphalted. come in and welcome you cordially, a waiter will accompany you to the table and from that moment it becomes your fixed interlocutor. we (my wife and I) choose to have lunch in the dehors, quite shady and well ventilated. you sit down and immediately arrive a bowl of guttiau bread that begins to clunch, meanwhile menu, wine list, and commands. In the waiting you see how the waiters behave and how they move between the tables you realize that they are neither spoiled, nor afterworkers and you are happy to be there among professionals. our is friendly, friendly, never invasive, always very attentive. Now we come to the real reason why we go to the restaurant: the food.antipasto parme cut to the knife with its right amount of fat, excellent.primi gnocchi roasted with fondue of Parmesan....that I had never eaten, nice surprise; culurgiones with cherry tomatoes, a classic Sardinian.second grilled beef fillet, perfect cooking, still red meat, but without juices coming out of meat, logically very soft. trifolate rognoncino, I love the rognone in a particular way that is baked to the brace, flambè or trifolato so they are part of the judgment: delicious, well cooked with the right consistency under the delti.dessert watermelon, red and succulent, but little sugary berries sugar and lemon, good.digestive myrtle offered by the house, thanks. I think I paid the right for a restaurant of this level, but we are not in amena resorts with great view or in the center of an important city, but in the outskirts of monza and the restaurant overlooking the valassina, road to lanes, besides the list of wines, in my opinion, it is inadparable, I took beer: a jchnusanon filtered from to euro, to the essential euro, I understand everything, but not exa. I confirm, however, the high quality of food."
