"Assuming I've found the right restaurant, it's not really fair to list it as being in Lucca. It's a bit remote, high in the Tuscan hills above the village of Coreglia Antelminelli, so an hour or so from Lucca. However, this means it's no tourist trap. We visited on a Saturday Friday whilst staying nearby and it was very busy on the Saturday with family parties. Da Nara obviously has a good reputation locally as there only a handful of houses nearby and the 10/15 minute drive up from Coreglia Antelminelli is somewhat tight and twisty. Excellent pizzas and the house red wine is great value at 4 euro a litre. There is an English menu and a couple of the staff do understand English. Overall : a traditional family run restaurant serving excellent food."

Not the best place for dinner. Cod with Polnta was okay, fried seafood was missing something. Beautiful atmosphere, eager and helpful staff. Go somewhere else. View menu

the last time I came to mourn I came to dinner in this trattoria and as I had eaten very well I wanted to bring my friends. we started with an infarinated with polenta, vegetables and other ingredients and then with the livornese cod, a great dinner.

I loved it. The only flaw the owner kept telling us we were taking too much stuff. Maybe because he thought we wouldn't eat everything and pay the same, he was trying to be correct. Of course, it is not that one declares that he has food disorders and he breaks down food at the restaurant, but one also arrives. other thing that could improve is the wardrobe that is now just a few hangers on a table that acts as a pandora, with puts on the cutlery. I'll put five stars anyway.
