"visited on 25.03.2016, table reservation for four people, a gaster vegetarian who da piero can be found in a brownish mascherode. the restaurant is located in an old department store at the entrance of the mascherode. parking spaces belonging to the restaurant are not available. the restaurant itself consists of two apartments in which 80 guests can find space after homepage. restaurant well visited, with increasing arrival by other guests, very cramped. I had expected an authentic Italian restaurant due to the good reviews. the two gas rooms were very narrow due to the many tables. a table decoration, such as flowers or candles, was not present. after our arrival in the da piero we were led from a waiter to our table and left ourselves. after some time a young lady seemed to bring us the menus. the menu included, to our surprise, almost exclusively meat and fish dishes. the selection of pasta (three at the number) and salads (two possibilities) I did not get enough. the choice of the diner was a bit difficult for us, as dishes of typical Italian cuisine were not offered on the menu. the possibility to avoid even the fuss when ordering a pizza did not exist, since pizza is not offered in this restaurant. it passed some time until a waiter appeared to accept our order. served after another 25 minutes. dishes tastefully ok, the portions were very clear. mixed salad for 6,00 euro in very small portion. the three ice balls for 4,50 euro were served in a white dish without love and little appetit. because the content of our counter could not be called luxurious, a murical operation appeared very fast, which extinguished the shamelessly. we got another drink order just before the bill. Conclusion: who expects a typical Italian restaurant with a good selection of different dressed and places that are appreciated on gastfreundschaft is on the place da piero miss. too many tables for too many guests, and the less appealing environment does not allow a comfortable factor. the menu offers little choice and the portions are really very clear. I would call the prices too expensive. price performance is not consistent. easyness of the personal: (we were served by four different employees) very impersonal and word-written, unfriendly and merciful, the menu on the homepage is no longer up to date the prices have been partially increased."

This is one of the best restaurants in Braunschweig and I highly recommend the drive to the outskirts of the city for an authentic Italian dinner experience. Great wine selection, service and Italian classics. Can't go wrong with the linguini with shrimp or truffles. Definitely coming back for a quite and relaxing dinner atmosphere.

I’ve been there on several different occasions over the past years. Never had a complaint well a funny one once however I haven’t been there for at least a year and took a chance with some business friends important to us. Hey menu was changed and we had a variety of great dishes wow this restaurant was even getting further improved although I didn’t believe it’s possible at all. It’s not a cheap pizza place expect a ristorante with value for your money and yes it’s worth while leaving some there.
