"I want to start by saying that the review by another American should not skew your decision to come here. After reading about this place a few years ago in the NYT, I had it on my 'go to ' list. It just so happened that yesterday I found myself in the neighborhood and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, there were many tables available and I was seated at once. I want to point out that Romans, like many other big city residents, are not always the most friendly. I was served, but not fawned over. I ordered from the specials menu, and, noting that I was not a native, the wife repeated my order as if to make sure I knew what I was ordering I speak Italian). I took no offense and said 'yes '. The food was delicious and very well prepared. Roman food can be underwhelming to some, because it does not use a lot of spices. It focuses on the basic ingredients. I was very happy with my meal. When i went to pay my bill, I mentioned to Roberto that I had read about them in the NYT. This was the first he ever heard of it. Seems a shame, that a newspaper would review a restaurant and not let them know. I 'm glad, though, that I knew. Go here, before these people retire."

Do not miss this in Rome! Take a taxi because it is a bit out from il centro. You will be happy you did! The corniglio with truffles is fantastic. The red wine from Marche is a perfect match. The family running this restaurant are lovely! Book your table. If the restaurant is not full it would be a miracle.

decidedly a nice, spacious and well-furnished, where you eat well and the service is courteous and professional. food found of excellent quality and wine at the recommended glass, behind our request of something local, really appreciated. correct account. only advice would I suggest on appetizers a less minimalist fit

restaurant that offers an Italian cuisine with some classics and revisits of Roman cuisine. good tonnarelli with fried artichokes, even if artichokes were cold, then they were very much detached from the freshly prepared pasta. average high prices, also counting the location of the room, drawn from the most central areas of roma.

It's a great restaurant where you can get many typical Roman dishes. The interior room is very cozy and nice quiet and well furnished with goto. The staff is kind and smiling. You can eat outside. here you can choose the menu' of the day according to the goths and preferences: first dishes of choice seconds: trippa alla romana buonissima or the oven with crispy potatoes. Please choose the desserts: donuts with cream English soup etc. try to believe.

Can here for dinner with my friend for a quick bite. After 2 hours and chatting to the owner I must say the place is fantastic. Old style restaurant accompanied by typical local cuisine. We were made feel like regulars with tip service. I had the burrata to start which was delicious followed by the maialino with potatoes and a bottle of Vermentino. I would highly recommend this place as a non tourist, local fine food dining. A must for anyone who enjoys local good quality food in an Italian ambience.
