The service at this restaurant was good, but unfortunately, the food quality was lacking. Both dishes we ordered had very little meat and were overwhelmed by excessive vegetables. This negatively impacted the overall flavor of the dishes.

We visited this restaurant for a team dinner. There were 32 of us on a Friday night. Everyone raved about the delicious food, friendly staff, and fantastic service. They were more than accommodating and we will definitely be returning in the future.

The staff were almost apologetic about the food they were serving. I ordered tandoori chicken. It took a long time so I assumed it was fresh. It was sooooo dry. I couldn’t eat it. Must have been yesterday’s. Or Wednesday’s. It’s a treat for us go out occasionally. I won’t be going there again.

Tried to place an order for delivery. Gave my card details multiple times. Each time the person on the phone couldn't get the card details correct. The last time of trying he entered the expiry date incorrectly and blamed me for the transaction being declined. Contacted card provider curve who confirmed that it was the restaurant's error expiry date entered incorrectly !!!

Surrey Live has this restaurant as one of three contenders for best Indian restaurant in the country. Sadly, I wouldn’t rate it as the best Indian restaurant in South Street and it’s the only one…. The only tasty part of the meal was was the poppadoms which were fresh and crispy but the accompanying mint sauce was tasteless. My chicken shashlick was so dry it was inedible, bland tasteless rice and the cheese naan had no cheese…. So very disappointing.

The restaurant has recently increased their prices due to inflation, but now they have also reduced portion sizes while keeping the prices the same. Despite being told this was all they were getting, the reviewer was disappointed with the small portions of Saag Bhaji and onion Bhajis. The reviewer did not leave a tip for the staff, although they acknowledged it was not their fault. The reviewer hopes the restaurant will reconsider their portion sizes and be fair to their customers in the future.

8pm on a Saturday. Party of 3 We waited over an hour for our food. Drinks were extremely slow on the occasion the order wasn’t lost. The staff were full of excuses rather than owning that the service wasn’t acceptable. Blaming the delay on larger parties, even though we made a point of ordering before they did, but they were served before we were. There was no prior warning of the delays which they clearly knew about. In the future I’ll stick with a take away from the Spice Station. Much better food and much quicker.

We were staying in the area and husband wanted a curry. We found this restaurant and went in. Unfortunately my curry was pretty tasteless and had cashews nuts. I have never seen cashew nuts in a tikka but that just may be that it’s something this restaurant does. There was not a lot of taste in the accompaniments either really. My husbands curry on the other hand was meant to be quite mild and nearly blew me away with the amount of spice. The atmosphere was ok but it’s always rather uncomfortable when the waiting staff hover. Sorry but not for me.

This was the curry club’s March venture and, as usual, the booking was made for 20 members. With some unexpected confirmed and suspected COVID cases amongst the group, we eventually arrived with 9 for dinner. This was no issue for the welcoming staff, who gave us a large table on one side of the restaurant. With drinks on the table and food ordered from the ample menu, we chatted over popadoms and pickles. The main meals were delivered exactly to order, and despite not feeling rushed at all, very quickly. Top marks for the quality of the food; there was a range of different choices across the table, and not a complaint was heard. The very reasonable bill was settled and we were on our way, s...
