"From the piste you might not realise it was there. As you ski along the plateau at the top where all the lifts come out, it's a low building on the left. Doesn't look like anything special. Walk round the outside and find yourself on...the terrace, built out on stilts overhanging the view. It's a tremendous view. The terrace is glassed in so you can sit outside in all weathers pretty much We had Kurbiskremesuppe (pumpkin cream soup) and Tiroler Zweierlei Rindsuppe Mit Speck und Leberknödl beef soup with a double dumpling one ham, one liver. Both good. Fruit tea, and mint tea, it came to 21€20"

Reasonably good food at the very top of the mountain, nice friendly staff, outside on the deck in the sun or inside by the big fire when its cold, limited menu but not bad for the top of the mountain.

a lot of luck being served here. the employees will ignore them even if they mark them directly down. to drink, smoke and chat among themselves. owner has a local call to be surly and rude. wait for them to the bottom of the mountain.

Everyone has to find this place. It is in a great location looking out across the snowy slopes of Alpbach. The coffee and hot chocolate is to die for and the cakes are just.........Sublime!!!! Every day on the way back from the pistes we come...and eat cake.

Picturesque, lovely views. Great sun terrace with sheepskins and cushions for warmth and comfort, lovely fire inside. Good food, especially for kids, friendly service, although it can be slow when it's busy. Perfect for an afternoon hot chocolate in the sun. View menu

Good luck getting served here. Staff will ignore you even when you flag them down directly. Too busy drinking, smoking and chatting amongst themselves. Owner has a local reputation for being surly and rude. Wait until you get to the bottom of the mountain to...eat.

I went up in the gondola to meet friends for lunch as I was not skiing. easy 2 min walk when you get up there. The food was fine but came in random intervals and the service was quite frankly hopeless. They know they are going to be busy at lunch time so they need to up their game and cope with demand.

I have always liked this place as a ski lunch venue. Sometimes have to wait for a table but they turn around quickly. On a sunny day the terrace is the best! But this year I discovered the lasagne. Oh my! The lasagne. I almost don't want to tell you all about it for fear they might run out. It is amazing! View menu

Food was nice, moderately expensive. However we were charged €4 euros for tap water by the manager, despite never being told it would cost. This was written nowhere on the menu and we had in fact brought our own water, so we were very disappointed...that the manager insisted we pay. She made a big fuss and was not at all helpful or understanding. The waitress was very nice, but the manager spoiled our experience of this place and I feel it necessary to warn other potential customers! We've never had to pay for tap water anywhere else in Europe.
