"We came here because it was near the Vatican and well-reviewed. Our expectations were set by the crowd and the convivial mood, and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. The food was nothing to write home about we had carbonara and pork with ham and potatoes) and was definitely not the best we’ve had in Rome. However, this was more than made up for by the friendly staff and the complimentary post-meal digestif limoncello), oranges, and panettone slices. The prices were below average €10 for a carbonara), especially for its proximity to the Vatican museum. Would recommend to desperate, hungry families taking a break from a long day visiting the Vatican, but not for those with high expectations for what roman food should be!"
