Just come back from soll had dinner in died every night the huntsman plater lovely rare fillet steaks and the beef instead of snails in garlic is perfection threaser always wonderful welcome

Had dinner which was tasty traditional Austrian food. Atmosphere insude is nice, food was good, generous portions. The girl who served the drinks and food, Liliana, was energetic and very enthousiastic and paid good attention to details. 10 points for her service.

Cosy restaurant in Soll. Typical Austrian decor. Service and staff good. Can be a little off when you first come in but that is just the austrian manner we think. They do soften up and get a sense of humour as they serve you. Food is lovely. Came back twice and had no complaints either time. Well worth coming here.

I`ve just returned from my 20th year in Soll and the Dorfstubn still keeps its high standards of quality and service.. My favourite this year is Zwiebelnrostbraten 2 pieces of braised Sirloin steak with Green beans and saute potatoes. Delicious. The old favourites like Grostl and Goulasch soup are as good as ever. Resi usually puts a one page insert into the main menu giving an extra 2 or 3 mains. This is where I found the Pfifferling Grostl(with Chanterelles instead of meat bacon) another new favourite.! I`ve some changes in Soll recently but the Dorfstubn is still going strong after 33 years.Long may it continue!

Really wanted to enjoy Stubn after reading the reviews. I want to separate the staff from the food with this review. The food (cheese fondue) was really excellent and the kids enjoyed their kids nuggets and schnitzel. The staff on the other hand....brusque would sum it up. The drinks order was wrong, we had to chase several times to get the right drink at the right time and it was just put on the corner of the table and not in front of the person. There was no cutlery, no bread for the fondue....I could go on. I’m not sure if they were short staffed (it happens) or whether this was normal service. This restaurant was recommended by the manager of our hotel when I asked for traditional Austrian cuisine. The food was very good and typically Austrian. We went to this restaurant twice during our trip, thankfully we did. The first time we went there weren't any tables available but they very kindly sat us at the bar (which actually seemed very nice), but then we were pretty much ignored. No offer of drinks, or to view the menu. After about 25 minutes I managed to stop the waiter and ask for him to serve us. The food was really good, but the service was poor. Large group on a skiing holiday in Söll booked via Crystal for a package holiday which included meal vouchers for dinner (choice of 3 restaurants). This is obviously a popular restaurant from the amount of people every night. This gave us hope that it would be good given that the previous nights' restaurant had been a slight let down in food but lovely service,and the 3rd choice had no room all week (side note be warned if you go with a large group as you will need to book in advance) When we arrived, we waited a good 15 minutes whilst they prepared the table.
