"We have been meaning to try here for a few months and today we finally popped in. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. There is plenty of seating indoors and a couple of tables outside. Easy access to the tea rooms as there’s no steps etc so good for pushchairs and wheelchairs. We ordered a slice of Victoria sandwich cake and a slice of lemon and blueberry cake. The cakes were lovely. We also ordered a cappuccino and a latte. We don’t have any dietary needs but we really liked the fact they offer diary free options as well as all their food being gluten free. We will definitely visit here again to try something else on their menu as they do jacket potatoes, panni’s, fish finger sandwiches and much more ..."

A very good variety of cakes and sandwiches, including a good menu for those requiring gluten free options. Very good 'afternoon teas '. They also do celebration cakes to order.

I visited this tearoom today with my family for lunch I felt like a little girl in a sweet shop. A whole gluten free menu to choose from. Amazing. Very good service and friendly staff. I want to go back again.

Took Mum, Betty, and the family to celebrate Mums 90th birthday. It was perfect. The food was gorgeous, as was the welcome. There were even birthday banners put up around the cafe, and it was even closed to other visitors. Couldn't of asked for more.

I had a lovely wheat free lunch and dessert with a friend of mine prior to the lockdown, what lovely staff and food, made us feel very welcome and looked after us well. We will definitely be returning once it is reopened following the Pandemic and government guidelines.

Went for a birthday lunch with my sister-in-law. We don't need a gluten free diet but wanted to try Dottie's. We both had a beautifully cooked baked potato. The gluten free cake that I had was gorgeous white chocolate and cranberry).Lots of home made cakes to choose from. The gentleman that served us was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again if in the area

Once again your food was fantastic. We nipped in for lunch and was able to enjoy pannini's, wedges and home made cakes safe in the knowledge it would be completely gluten free. Claire's home made scones are worth a trip on their own and when they found out it was my husband's birthday they even put a candle in his! I can't recommend this place enough whether you are coeliac or not, it's a lovely little tearoom, run by a very friendly family that's well worth the visit.

This was our second visit to the tearoom. The cakes are delicious and they have a great selection of gluten free food. I stocked up on gluten free naan breads while I was there which really are the best I’ve ever had. The owners are so lovely and friendly. We arrived close to closing time and they let us sit and have a coffee as we’d had a long journey. They didn’t rush us out and we had a great chat with them. Thank you both. I wish this place was closer to where I lived!

We booked afternoon tea here on Thursday afternoon. Staff were very friendly and made sure we had what we needed and checked to see if we needed our teapot topping up. The food was lovely and plentiful. We had quiche, salad, sandwiches, a few crisps and a selection of mini cakes. We then had scones which are probably the best scones I’ve ever had. I will definitely go again and can’t wait to visit again. It’s not often you find a place that is fantastic and offers such a warm welcome. Highly recommend!

I visited on friday for my birthday. I live in Sheffield but have followed this cafe on Facebook for a while. It was so worth the journey, having a full menu to order from is a luxury. I had a pannini which was lovely and my daughter and partner both ate from the menu, even though they are not gluten free. The staff are lovely and the cakes all look amazing! I tried one and took a few more home to eat later, along with some tea cakes. I can now say that they are all very good too. I will definitely be back for afternoon tea soon, which I will order in advance this time!!

"I went there for Christmas dinner with my partner and we had a horrible experience will never go again. My partner had steak which was lovely but the chips, onions, sauce and other accompaniments were cold. I had traditional turkey the only edible thing was the carrots and turkey! The roast potatoes were hard as rock and seemed either overcooked or cooked from frozen. The parsnips I couldn’t cut, cauliflower was hard and the pigs in blanket was so hard it couldn’t be cut. There wasn't even a yorkshire pudding. We complained just about mine and they brought me a new one but that was worse. In the end I only ate a few carrots and some turkey. I complained again when he came to ask how it was again. He said he would ask manager to come over, he took 15/20 mins in meantime my psrtmer had eaten his steak and I was just sat there. The manager offered to let us have our 1 drink each free plus one more round. I was grateful they had offered but it had still spoiled my Christmas and I was emotional as I work every year as a nurse on Christmas Day and cook when I get in (for 40 years) this was the only time I had been out for christmas dinner. It took 50 mins to clear our plates. I just wanted to go home but we had dessert to eat so I had that it was nice but was described as Eton Mess but it was just a big meringue with a dollop of cream on and about 2 strawberries chopped up no sauce at all. The server was nice but we couldn’t get anyone’s attention to get a drink even though we were the last sitting and the kitchen was closed, it wasn’t that busy. I am disappointed and even though they tried to help me it wasn't enough, when we paid £90 each. They warm everything up in the microwave I think apart from meat and fish that’s what it tasted like anyway."
