"We visited on a Sunday after a wet windy dog walk , we booked last minute, they were more than happy to accommodate us and found us a dog friendly table in the bar . We had the Sunday roast, it was absolutely delicious one of the best I have had , great potion size too , we orderd extra gravy, pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese, all of which were lovely . My only disappointment was I had no room for dessert next time we won’t order sides , the atmosphere was very friendly and cozy , great service too. We will definitely be back and would recommend . A little local gem hidden away with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. Delicious home cooked food at a very reasonable price. I had and almighty slice of the chicken pie with chips and mushy peas, and was not disappointed

Stunning good and great staff. These really pulled off a fantastic lunchtime meal under very busy conditions with the added pressure of being short staffed. The Chef obviously knows his game and I'd say he's at the top of it. Thanks so much...we'll be back!

We went for lunch yesterday avent been for a long while, we ad steak and ale pie which chips and mushy peas, and it wos beautiful but couldn't eat all of it as the pie wos to much for me to eat , but all home made food will definitelybe goin again but to try something different Well done fox and hound for beautiful and all home food

The waitress I had (Summer) was amazing with her service and put 100% into everything I asked for. I would absolutely come back again. The food was cooked to perfection, the best place I have ever been!
